We purchased a new Camry about a week or so ago and we were promised mudflaps. As luck would have it, our sales person and his boss (that we dealt with) were both on vacation. Mr. Hoke handled the situation perfectly and the service person, Ms.Cooper, I worked with was just as good as it gets, very accomedating and just plain pleasant. They got a hold of the parts and said we can do it "NOW" if you wish. Man...that is some service. Service done the right way...I will be happy to spread the word. I had a very important work related presentation to make and got up early and went out to my car. Of all days, it wouldn't start. Harrisburg Toyota understood my dilemna and immedialtey sent a technician out to help me with my car issue and I made it to the meeting on time...I know how busy they are, but they went above and beyond to get help me! I have not only had a wonderful experience in this matter, but also when I go in for regular service. I am always treated professionally and attended to promptly, and always with smiling faces. I purchased a RAV 4 which is only a few months old and I found a burn mark on the back seat. Since I do not smoke and no other passengers smoke I assume it occurred by having the windows open and a passing found a burn mark on the back seat. After speaking with Evelyn she indicated that they could repair the burn but I would be responsible for the cost. She did indicate I could pay what the dealership would pay to have it repaired. I then received a phone call from Kelly asking me to bring my vehicle in to have the seat repaired...to my surprise the dealership did pay for the repair. Needless to say I was very happy. Kelly was very kind and understanding which made my experience a pleasant one. I would like to thank Evelyn and Kelly and the dealership for making me a happy customer. Freedom Toyota's financing team worked with me and offered me a terrific deal - 0% financing for 60 months on a brand new Toyota Yaris hatchback. They also gave me a great deal on my trade in. I was able to drive my new car home that same night. I couldn't be happier with my experience overall, and with my new car. I have recommended this dealership to my friends who are looking for a new vehicle, and one of them ended up getting one the very same week. We came in to this dealership with a flat tire 200 miles from home on the fourth of July weekend. Dan Ward was friendly, helpful, and made sure our car was taken care of in less than an hour. Our family was able to make it home from our trip with only a minor delay and no stress. We had heard than run-flat tires could be super expensive and that some dealers charge extra fees just to replace them. We were pleasantly surprised at the price and there were no attempts at any extra fees despite the emergency nature of the service. Thanks for the job well done! More
Took all day for inspection and oil change. I specifically requested first service appt of day and they never finished my car until 5:15. When I scheduled my appointment three weeks in advance, I told them I needed it done as soon as possible and the person assured me she would put me down to be first done that morning and they would call me as soon as it was finished. I dropped off my car the night before so it would be there and ready when they opened. I have young children so I did not want to make them wake up early and just sit in the waiting room while the car was being worked on. At 1pm I get a call that they need to do some service to my car and I approved it also mentioning that I need this done asap and please call me as soon as this is done. At 4:30 I called to see what was going on and they told me it would be done by 6pm giving me the excuse that it needed additional service. I get that, however, if they had started my car first thing as I was told it would be, they would have know this within an hour of starting, not at 1pm. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me at this dealership and I will no longer go back to this service department. Bobby Rahal, here I come! More
When I first moved to the Harrisburg area, I took my Chrysler COncorde there for service. I thought that I would need a new timing belt for my car. They quoted me a price of around $900. A day later, they called me to say that my car had a timing chain, not a timing belt.There was no need to replace anything When I asked them the price for the service, they said there was no chage. They did not know me from Adam, and they have always been courteous and helpful in servicing my old car. When my Concorde was destroyed in an accident, I was going to get a used car,but have it financed through my insurance company because they offered great used car rates. They shot me down because of a disputed medical bill. I was furious. I went to the dealership to see if they can help,still very upset. Janice showed me a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car was listed for a little above wholesale,but they still took $1,000 off without me asking. I sold cars for 17 years in South Jersey,and I knew that this was a more than fair asking price. They even gave me $500 for my Concorde with 137,000 miles and a smashed rar bumper and quarter panel. The finance manager was confused as to why the insurance company rejected me. He got me an approval at the same rate as the insurance company. A few words about the up sheets. They are the best I have ever seen in the business. They give you payments for 36,48 and 60 months,for a buy or lease, with different amounts of money down. They hit hard on the interest rates,however. Still it is easy to negotiate a great rate if you are credit worthy. They are printed out in an easy-to-read professional manner. I would also like to point out that Janice Walls is an excellent sales woman. She is very calm and laid back. she puts absolutly no pressure on the buyer. My brother bought a Scion XB from her,and she was courteous to him as well. They even went crazy on his trade,giving him a more than generous deal. If there is any room for improvement, I would recommend that they add a quick lane service center for minor servicing like oil changes and tire rotations. While they offer pick up/drop off services, it would be nice to get the little things done quickly. More
