She is a one-of-a-kind person - who you will never forget after your first time meeting her. I have always asked for Robin when any of our cars need servicing, even if it means changing a day to bring in the car. She is always honest with what work needs to be done... if any like during warranty w servicing, even if it means changing a day to bring in the car. When I bring in my older car, I feel comfortable knowing the problem will be taken care of without any extra charges. She is sensitive to customer needs, time crunches and stays in touch for notification of work completed. More
I've had 6 Toyotas, never needed Warranty service. On 4/20/19 I bought a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid at Heritage Toyota Catonsville. Summer 2019 I transported a load of luggage, food & gear for a family of 5 to the 4/20/19 I bought a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid at Heritage Toyota Catonsville. Summer 2019 I transported a load of luggage, food & gear for a family of 5 to the beach. I've transported the same load dozens of times before in my 2006 RAV4 and 2012 Prius. But the cargo floor supports of the 2019 collapsed. The dealer denies warranty coverage, saying that Toyo HQ cites "external influences." Dealership and Toyota HQ explained that the “external influences” were overloading of the cargo floor. But as the 2006 and 2012 Toyotas suggest, these were normal conditions the cargo supports should have handled. They did not handle them due to defects in the car. It's like saying that the failure of defective windshield wipers is due to an external influence - heavy rain - so their failure to wipe the windshield is not covered under warranty. Unless the 2019 is not designed to handle loads the 2006 and 2012 can, ambiguous reference to “external influences” is a bogus reason to deny warranty repairs. This bogus reasoning was repeated by both dealership and Toyota HQ representatives. More
