Heritage Mazda Towson is the complete opposite-I could not have had a better experience. I knew I wanted a CX-5 and was looking for a dealership that would make that happen. First, I visited Carmax and they gave me this long winded excuse of why my estimate was what it was. Second, I walked into Heritage Mazda and was greeted by my salesman, Mike Edwards. He talked with me about the CX-5 and what I was looking for. He asked me how much I had financed on my other car still (since I wanted to trade it in) and we talked about how much was left. While the appraisal was being done on my car Mike assured me he had my ideal car but it was on its way to the dealership right then. In the meantime he held small talk very well, he is super relatable (not slime ball sales guy, and hey he's pretty attractive also). When the car arrived he assured me there was no use talking numbers if I didn't love the car. We went for a test drive and he pointed out all the features of the Mazda and, wouldn't you know, I fell in love with the car. We came back and talked numbers... Heritage Mazda offered me $2500 more for my trade-in than Carmax WOW! He got me the monthly payments I wanted, asked "do we have a deal?" And there was no other answer but yes! He matched everything I wanted in a car and now I am driving around in my favorite car ever. Like other reviewers mentioned, I didn't have my title and one other form with me but we completed the paperwork that night and he allowed me to bring it back the same week. Overall, I have and will recommend this dealership to anyone I know that is in the market for a car. Easiest car buying experience and truly a great group of people. More

I was really impressed with the comfortable atmosphere and process that Gabe presented for me. He owns a speed3 as well so it helped, knowing I was speaking with someone who knows the car inside and out. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the dealership seemed slightly undermanned for a busy Friday night as far as the financial department goes. I was there at 8pm for an appointment and didn't actually leave the dealership until 1am because there was only one employee in the financial part of the process who was in despite the multiple customers in and waiting. (He was doing his best to get through everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible, though**) I think if the wait to sign papers hadn't taken that long, I would have absolutely been in and out in a couple of hours - if not less than that. Great dealership otherwise - really speaks volumes to Mazda's standards for its employees. More

Sang met me with a handshake and a smile and in minutes we were on a test drive. There was no pressure and he was very informative on the his product. Price and discounts offered made little need for negotiation and Sang was extremely helpful and informative during the whole process. I got the car I wanted and warranties for a great price. The rest of the staff were polite and helpful as well. This is my first Mazda and I love it. Highly recommend Mazda, the Heritage name, and especially Sang. More

I've been looking for a used Lexus for several months and have not been impressed with the pricing or service that I received at other dealerships. I really didn't expect to buy a car when I walked into Heritage but they gave me a fair offer on my trade in and accepted my offer on the Lexus. They say that a good sale is when both sides walk away happy. I can't speak for Heritage, but I know I drove away happy. More

Terrible communication, uninformed staff I went in for a replacement key for our Mazda Tribute. I called on a Tuesday and came by the next day (Wednesday) for them to take a look at the key a I went in for a replacement key for our Mazda Tribute. I called on a Tuesday and came by the next day (Wednesday) for them to take a look at the key and the car - fine. Service staff said they had to order the key and remote entry fob, but that it would be ready for pick up the next day - fine. He said there was no need to make an appointment because programming the key took only a couple of minutes. Thursday I called before I drove out there, and the same service staff member had no recollection of our conversation, could not find the record of the order, and apologized, saying he would do it now and it would be ready the next day - annoying, but fine. Monday I went to pick it up and they did have it, but asked if I was going to wait while they cut the key and programmed it, which might take anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour, max. An hour?? What happened to a few minutes? I said I was on my lunch break from work and couldn't wait an hour, so would make an appointment for later in the week when I had more time. Thursday (now a full week after my initial call), I came in for the appointment. An hour later, not one person had checked in with me, updated me on the progress, or otherwise acknowledged that I was still sitting there. I went back to the service desk and asked how much longer it would be, and was told that they had no idea, they were having trouble with the fob and it might never work. At this point, I spoke with a manager and explained the long story and that I was frustrated that I was still sitting there an hour (and a week!) later with no idea of how much longer it might be or whether it might be done at all. I told her I was not able to wait any longer, and would not be coming back again for the same key, particularly after her service staff had told me it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't take long to do. She told me that the key (minus the fob), actually, was ready to go and that since I had requested it I was responsible for paying for it. I said I would not pay for just the key when it was not my full order, and I would not have come in for just a key. She finally did release my car without payment for the key, but not without acting as though I was being completely unreasonable and overreacting to the situation by refusing to wait any longer or come back yet again for the same purpose. We have never done business with this Mazda dealership before, and will never be back. More
