Wow -- a more cliche'd experience could not exist outside of a novel or bad TV sitcom. We had a 9 a.m. appointment with USED sales lady; received a text at 8:15 a.m. that the car was outside and ready for us of a novel or bad TV sitcom. We had a 9 a.m. appointment with USED sales lady; received a text at 8:15 a.m. that the car was outside and ready for us to test drive. Upon arrival, we were switched from our online/text contact to a male salesperson. At 10 a.m., they still hadn't "found" the car they said was ready. So we test drove a top of the line model and loved it, of course, The salesman swore on his ancestors' souls he'd sell us the car for the same price as the lost vehicle. This was a lie. When confronted, he brought in some random dude who went on about "we are all human and make mistakes but we have found the other car and it will be here in an hour or so." Bait & Switch? Fraud? We did not stay around to find out. They continued to call until I threatened to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Beware bait N switch tactics (used car sales). Absolutely horrendous experience and waste of time. We already had financing, so we were at another dealership and in the car of our choice by 2 p.m.! We actually got a better deal, too. More
