No pressure at all from Jack, he let us lead and just facilitated getting us a vehicle that fit our needs. Felt more like we hired a consultant than like we were working with a salesman. Stan also made sure I had something to eat since I had been there for so many hours. After purchasing the vehicle he followed up with a phone call, email & offered for me to come in for additional instructions I had in regards to driving the vehicle. I have been dealing with Heritage Hyundai, Towson for the past decade or so. Over that time, my wife and I have leased at least a half of dozen cars from the dealership and we have always worked with Jack C past decade or so. Over that time, my wife and I have leased at least a half of dozen cars from the dealership and we have always worked with Jack Coco, Sr. in the purchasing of those vehicles. We have found Jackie to be straightforward in our interactions and extremely helpful in "demonstrating all the new features on the new cars we have purchased. The other folks I have interacted with Heritage over the years have ben very pleasant, professional, and helpful. While I cannot remember if I have either personally met Mr. Brad Scammell, he has sent me information about "sales, discounts, etc. that Heritage and Hyundai over the years that has been helpful in making car buying decisions. As I indicated in my responses to the survey questions, I plan on returning to Heritage Hyundai Towson next year when the lease on my wife's car runs out. I will again seek out Jackie Coco, Sr. in the purchase of our next car. More
Made two trips to the dealership after I was told the vehicle I was looking for was there, it was not there either time. I live about 35-45 mins. away from the dealership so each time it was several hour vehicle I was looking for was there, it was not there either time. I live about 35-45 mins. away from the dealership so each time it was several hours wasted. I even made a 3rd trip there when the GM Brad Scammell called and told me for sure the vehicle was there. Made a fair deal on a new car and my salesman Ibrahim was very helpful and all went well until I got to the finance dept., finance manager didn't seem to be prepared ( they were not busy ) and she really didn't seem to interested in getting us out of there in a timely fashion ( was there 5 hours by now ) and due to her delays the credit union was now closed and we couldn't get confirmation of approval from them. Made the deal with another lender and finance manager ( Ms. Jackson )said she would contact the credit union tomorrow to find out about approval as the rate was lower. Next time we heard from her she stated the credit union wanted us to put another 5k down for the deal ( already had 12k equity in the new car with trade and money down ), so we contacted the credit union and they said that was not true that we were approved and it would be best to complete the deal through the dealership so again we contacted Ms. Jackson and had to leave a voicemail, she never called back that day. Called the next day and she was off, called on the 3rd day and spoke with her GM and then we finally got to speak to her again and she stated she " wasn't sure how to proceed now and would have to speak to her supervisor ", well she got back to us the following day and said she couldn't do it as it had to have been done within one day of our deal. Thanks to her delaying getting back to us we now have to go to the credit union and finish everything ourselves and that is being held up waiting for Heritage to mail us the new registration. I have done deals with their GM previously and he was a pleasure to work with, no problem with the salesman even though he told me on the phone the 2nd time that the vehicle was there when it wasn't but the finance manager made the entire process a miserable experience and much more work for us because she didn't do her job and failed to follow up with us in a timely manner. More
