Heritage Hyundai Towson has attempted to reach out to this customer to resolve the issue but so far has not been able to get in contact. The vehicle in question was a 9 year old model with 79,611 miles, and was sold under the MileOne 3 Month 3K Powertrain Warranty with the understanding that any other repairs outside of the warranty would be the customer’s responsibility. Although the brake noise concern and the window issue that the customer experienced were not covered under warranty, Service Manager Chris Maloney repaired the window at no cost. The service department explained to the customer that the brakes were perfectly safe and well within safety standards - they just had some pitting on them causing the noise. The only way to get rid of the noise would be to replace with brand new brakes which was quoted at $350. The other $150 of the quote was to repair the window, which Chris had taken care of free of charge. Heritage Hyundai Towson takes great pride in providing excellent customer service and standing behind the vehicles we sell.
