Heritage of Westminster is by far the best Honda service center I've dealt with since having my Accord for the past 3 years. I started using them out of proximity as a student at McDaniel College during my center I've dealt with since having my Accord for the past 3 years. I started using them out of proximity as a student at McDaniel College during my undergraduate experience. Needless to say, I've since graduated yet continue to make the 60 plus mile drive each time my car is due for servicing. If I need a temporary vehicle to get around town in while I wait for my car, Malcolm always has one waiting for me. Prices are reasonable (bearing in mind it's still a dealership) and the people are friendly. Tammy at the front desk always wears a smile, and is super efficient. I don't see myself taking my car anywhere else for as long as I own it. More
I came to this dealership in February to get a Maryland State Auto inspection on my Acura CL as it was a new car to me, and had to be titled and tagged in Maryland. When I got the bill for the inspection, State Auto inspection on my Acura CL as it was a new car to me, and had to be titled and tagged in Maryland. When I got the bill for the inspection, it included an $18 fee for hazardous waste disposal which was ludicrous because there was no work done on my car and no hazardous waste to dispose of. It required a complaint several times to the cashier who finally left the room and took it up with someone else in the dealership. But I finally got a refund. It meant I had to wait longer than anticipated, especially since I did not receive the phone call I was promised when the car inspection was completed. Recently I received a coupon in the mail for service work at the same dealership and thought I would give them one more try. I have 86,000 miles on the car and indicated was interested in the next major service. Since that service is 90,000 miles the scheduler indicated an oil change would be the only item necessary. I assumed the cost would be in the high $20 range, and when I arrived at the dealership and the service greeter took my information, checked on the car, and pulled up a price it was $42.95 for the oil change for the Acura. Since I had a $10 coupon, again it was higher than what I expected but doable. When my car was finished, I was handed a bill for $57.40, and charged $47.40 due to the $10 coupon. I expressed my dismay to a very rude cashier who could have cared less, asked for the service manager who she just pointed to in the service bay, and went to talk with him. Of course by this time I was frustrated and angry, and he acted like he could care less as well. I indicated that I would not be returning to such an unethical dealership who quotes one price and then charges something totally different, and adds charges that are not a part of the service provided. I am recommending to anyone who listens to bypass this dealership and find one that can provide excellent customer service, a warm and welcoming environment, and charges that are reasonable and fair. I won't be returning again.... two times is enough... third time would be foolish. More
Malcolm was awesome! He took the time to explain what was to be done and after understanding my problem, made arrangements to have the work perfomed that day! Tammy and Mike also were great behind the counte to be done and after understanding my problem, made arrangements to have the work perfomed that day! Tammy and Mike also were great behind the counter. I've taken my car here a few times before but the was the best. I have been a customer of Heritage Honda for twenty years. The Sales Manager, Steve Rubin has personally helped me select, purchase and finance over ten Honda's- several Honda Civics, a couple of Honda years. The Sales Manager, Steve Rubin has personally helped me select, purchase and finance over ten Honda's- several Honda Civics, a couple of Honda Accords and a Honda Pilot. Steve, by helping me get the best price with the most dealer incentives and affordable financing has helped me fulfill my promise to each of my 5 kids of a new Honda Civic EX at age 16 in return for making education their #1 priority. Adam Rew, the Service Manager, along with his Service Advisors including Tom Henigman and Alicia Strauss made sure to keep their cars running through high school and then college. Adam always found a way to help my family with honest estimates, excellent service and the lowest possible pricing. When each of my kids graduated college and traded in their cars they were even surprised at how much their Civics were still worth, giving each of them a nice down payment on their first car purchases. By the way, Dad bought the first edition Honda Pilot in 2003. With over 150,000 miles, it still enables our large family to go out together in style and comfort. After you buy your first car or truck from Heritage Honda and bring it in for your first service, say hi to Tammy Spangler, the Service Center Cashier. Just watching how much she likes her job by making sure you're a thoroughly satisfied customer will keep you coming back for years! More

I needed new tires for my CR-V and did not want to replace the tires with the same ones that were on the car when I bought it. I always "trust" information I receive from Tom Henigman (Service Consul replace the tires with the same ones that were on the car when I bought it. I always "trust" information I receive from Tom Henigman (Service Consulant) so I stopped by Heritage to get a tire suggestion from Tom. Tom suggested Michelin tires and suggested I speak to Rick Miller -- Rick concurred and I ordered four new tires. I then scheduled an appointment for the installation. When I arrived Tom told me how long it would take, since I was waiting, to install the tires. I was in at 8:00 am and out by 10:30 am not too bad. Whenever, I need to schedule an appointment I always prefer my service consultant to be Tom Henigman because of his no pressure, trustworty approach. More
My family has owned several Hondas over the years and finding a great service department in a dealership has always been important to us. Tom is the only person I work with on our cars. He's honest, de finding a great service department in a dealership has always been important to us. Tom is the only person I work with on our cars. He's honest, dependable and always helpful. For example, a few years ago we did a cross country drive in our 2004 Honda Civic and I kept hearing a strange noise. I took it to 4 different Honda dealership service departments and everyone said they couldn't find the noise. I took it to Tom for the first time and he told him the catalytic converter had gone bad. Thankfully the problem was caught with only 1,000 miles left on the warranty so we did not have to pay anything out of pocket to have it fixed properly. More
