The work done on my Pilot was done on time/as estimated Recommended fluid change work done well before scheduled time w/o checking vehicle records as it was done under another task. I asked for the engine coolant to be changed when it was done with timing belt change only 10,000 miles previously. Why did Keenan not look at my service history and mention that it was done only 10,000 miles previously. Why would I need it done so soon again? Similarly rear differential fluid replacement was done about 12,000 miles previously. Honda’s maintenance section of owners manual only mentions “Maintenance Minder” to tell me when service is due, not service interval time nor mileage. Thus if service is done early, it would tell me to do that service at a longer service interval than is recommended. Similarly, work done late will be done again at shorter interval than recommended instead of adding mileage and duration time of last service point to generate a revised service point. Very UN-sophisticated. Honda is more advanced than this, I would hope! More
