Poor Communication Resulted in Disappointing Visit Let me preface my comments by stating that my greatest grievance is against Honda in general, for not recognizing my Acura warranty despite the fact t Let me preface my comments by stating that my greatest grievance is against Honda in general, for not recognizing my Acura warranty despite the fact that I purchased the vehicle from a Honda Dealership in VA and was led to believe that I could rely on Honda for my servicing. This resulted in a very long, stressful and unproductive day, and my not getting the service done that was my primary purpose for this visit. That said, despite telling Brianna(?) these details when I made the appointment, I was not informed Honda would not accept my warranty, and the details I'd given her were not recorded and passed on to the service advisor (Brittany). I cite communication as a problem not only for these reasons, but also because this issue resulted in multiple phone calls throughout the day, to include the Honda dealership I purchased it from in an attempt to validate my warranty. Furthermore, I was unable to reach my service advisor for a few hours despite multiple calls for a status, and culminated in an hour+ wait for my return shuttle since no one would communicate with the shuttle driver. While I understand that the warranty policy may tie the hands of this dealership, I believe it could have been handled better, and considering I still agreed to nearly $500 for routine maintenance, I would have expected some discount (I read something elsewhere about a Wednesday Ladies discount?), or some coupon for future service due to a wasted day. I now am facing a 3rd garage visit in less than 2 weeks - did I fail to mention I had learned of the faulty air conditioning while on vacation last week in TN? I paid a mechanic there to identify the problem (which I did not have the time remaining to have repaired there), only to pay Honda for again, despite informing them of the condenser problem from the start (my service advisory disagreed with their findings initially). So no, I'm not satisfied and I doubt I will be back, since apparently you don't work on Acuras under warranty. More

Three of the tires were fine, but the rear tire on the driver's side indicated a level of only 20 pounds when it should have been 33 pounds. My husband knew it is common for tires to lose pressure in extremely cold temperatures so we weren't too concerned. However, the problem continued whenever there was a sudden drop in temperature and/or barometric pressure. We thought it might be a defective tire since our Odyssey only had 8000 miles on it when the problem first occurred. Finally, on May 1st after experiencing yet another low pressure in the same tire on Tuesday April 29 I took our Odyssey to Bel Air Honda. I explained the problem. The mechanic discovered the tire did indeed have a slow leak. A plug was put in. The work is guaranteed for the life of the tire. Hopefully, I'll no longer have to worry about temperature and barometric pressure changes having an effect on that tire's pressure. The cost was $15.93 ---- $14.00 of that was labor. More

She always greets me by my name and notifies the Honda technician, Jason Ray (JRay), that I’m there. I am very fortunate that I have both to help me keep my vehicles in excellent shape. The wait is always reasonable for any service. Chrissy always lets me of when my next service will be due. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else for service!!! Thank you Chrissy and JRay. More

Transfer from the main line to the service adviser took only 10 seconds, and one minute later she got all the information she wanted from me (name, and which car needed service, when I wanted it serviced), and soon the appointment is made. A confirmation popped up on my cellphone email! A day before the appointment, i got a reminder email from the manager. Dropping off the car was enjoyable too - the garage door opened automatically and I was greeted by the service adviser. She scanned a bar code on the car with an iPad and she knew everything about the service. When the adviser called me about the check-up results, I had bad cellphone signal. So she emailed me the whole report, which I responded a little later when the signal was better. I was running a little late to pick up my car. The manager greeted me and explained to me about the service and what else needed to be done - in the order or priority. I felt I was out of a doctor's office while I was driving home. More

The Driver's Position selec Once again, I had a very pleasant experience with Bel Air Honda, in particular, with my service advisor, Chrissy Richmond. The Driver's Position selector buttons had stopped working. Chrissy Richmond was there to greet me as I pulled my car into the service area bay. While writing up the service order, the staff had checked the wheel alignment of my car. Turns out the seat-position sensor had stopped working and will need to be replaced. Ms. Richmond advised me they would have to order a replacement sensor, and will contact me when it comes in. I have the utmost confidence in the abilities of the service department to accurately diagnose and repair issues when they arise. My car being a Honda, purchased at Bel Air Honda, has the good fortune of very few occurrences of issues that need repair. As a side note, the fresh-baked cookies in the waiting area are a nice treat! More
