Also, Tom was very supportive in making sure that my warranty through a third party covered the work completed. That is greatly appreciated. I recommend Bel Air Honda for service. More

I never have a problem scheduling an appointment and getting the work done in a timely manner. This is important to me since I have to travel an hour to get to this dealer. The price that I paid for my car, just under a year ago, was the best price that I could find from any Honda dealer in my area. Overall, I am very pleased with the entire experience. More

The service rep was not friendly or helpful on the phone. FIVE recalls were also performed despite the fact that my van had been in the shop just two months before - I wasn't sure how five recalls happened in such a short time! I couldn't be without my vehicle that long, so I called another shop which had the part and was MUCH cheaper and completed the work in an hour (we were leaving on vacation the next day). When I left the Honda dealership with my van I had to pull over on a busy road when I realized they had not reattached the front fender cover and the plastic parts below! Plastic parts were dragging on the road and had extensive damage! It was at that point that I realized my front license plate was partially detached as well. I was a loyal customer for 8 years (everything from oil changes and new wipers to major repair work), but I do not plan to return. I would have returned to the Honda dealership, but not after I discovered they hadn't put my van back together and it caused damage and could have caused an accident! More

I let my horrible experience go until I received a courtesy call today telling me it's time for service. I had never been to Bel Air Honda and I did not buy my car from them, so I could have been a returning customer. I got there and they took my car back. I was told it would be about two hours so I decided to wait. While waiting about a little over an hour Tom comes to the waiting area to get me because "they found an issue with my car and he didn't want to scare me" ... Really? So he takes me back to the desk and proceeds to tell me my lower ball joints are in bad shape and they require fixing as soon as possible and they could do it today.( I didn't know this was part of my recall) I opted not to I just want my car at this point. I just recently bought it so it had passed inspection. Now I am just irritated and full of questions like how did it pass inspection like that, if it was that bad. Did I get ripped off by the other dealer? I take my car home and in the following days take it to two seperate trusted mechanics I have been to over the years (cause one opinion didn't make me feel better) both of which told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that Bel Air Honda had lied to me. One of these mechanics actually took me back and showed me as he went through the tests for bad lower ball joints. Bad lower ball joints aren't something I want to mess with so I had to make sure. I don't know if it was cause I was a girl and Tom thought he could get over on me or what. But I was extremely dissapointed in my experience and will never return. I will tell others I know to do the same. And NO I will never bring my car in for service from Bel Air Honda or buy a car from a shady place like that. More

Angela was super nice when I made my appt (as well as when I called to change my type of service). The drop-off was easy and they had it ready the next morning. They were very helpful explaining our warranty coverage. The service reports are very comprehensive and easy to understand. I love how they email an appt confirmation, reminder, and then a report afterwards, makes it easy for record-keeping. More

Our Honda Odyssey broke down in the middle lane of 95 just south of Havre de Grace, Md. I was trying to pass a tractor trailer on my right but when I put my foot on the gas he engine just sputtered. Luckily, I was able to manuever to the shoulder without any power. The tow truck driver took us to BelAir Honda where I met Kurt. Kurt listened to my harrowing experience with a sympathetic ear. He stated that he would have the car diagnosed by the end of the day and he was true to his word and this was on a Saturday ! It turns out that a recalled fuel pump was improperly replaced by my dealer in the Phila. area. Not only did Kurt have the car repaired but he dealt directly with my dealer on the technical issues while keeping me in the loop the whole time. Kurt went above the call of duty. When I buy my next Honda, I will drive the two hours to deal with Bel Air. More
