While work was minor (add door-edge guards) I was pleasantly surprised with the courteous attention given to my work done. Richard Frank - the Honda Service Advisor - was thorough and friendly and explained a few other features of my new car I was unaware of. The work was done in about 1 hour, as I was told to expect and Mr Frank walked me through the process of closing out the job and departure. Kudos to all in the Service Dept. JHH More
terrible customer service I will never bring my car again for service. When i first took it there they kept telling me that noting was wrong with my car 4 hours later they find I will never bring my car again for service. When i first took it there they kept telling me that noting was wrong with my car 4 hours later they find one of the issues. They order the part was suppose to be in 3 days they were gunna call. So 10 days later i called they said oh it just came in today. Yea right. So i asked them over the phone do i need to bring in all of my keys when they replace the imbolizer? They said no. So i take the car to them tuesday drop it off over nite for wensday. They asked me if i wanted the car to be washed i said yes. So wensday i go to pick up the car guess what none of my keys worked to the car except the one they reprogramed. And the car never got washed. So i go in to talk to the service guy richard i stood there for about 20 minutes before i was greeted. Then i finally told one of the actual mechanics mike what was going on hes the one who told me they needed all keys to reprogram. So i live 40 miles away from this dealership so i go all the way home to get the other 3 keys and bring the car back out to have reprogramed i told the guy richard that i was gunna go grab food to please call me when it was done 3 hours later i go back up there cause they were closing in 20 minutes and i asked one of the men out in the service lane how long the car has been ready he told me atleast and hour. So i guess they wernt gunna call me. I go back in the front they told me to hang tight they needed to finsih up my paper work 20 mins later they never gave me any paper work they just said the keys in the car. I go to the car guess what still didnt get washed. I feel like that the guy i was dealing with is very unproffesinal so unorganized lack of leadership. No cumunacation skills at all. And to top it off theres still something wrong with my car. The sales part of this dealership is great (peter) Just the service dept sucks More
Regular maintenance support I have been bringing my 2010 Fit to you for regular service since buying it from you. I have always been pleased with the service, the timelines given I have been bringing my 2010 Fit to you for regular service since buying it from you. I have always been pleased with the service, the timelines given and adhered to, and the courteous staff. My service on 12-31-13 was coordinated by Richard Frank, a first contact. I found him to be most accommodating, clear and thorough in explaining recommended services, and eager to assist me with a ride to and from the dealership if needed. My experiences with Bel Air Honda are more appreciated as a result of my dismal experiences at Cook VW with my last car. There, I was lied to and fraudulently charged for services unnecessary/not done. Thank you for restoring my faith in a car dealership. Tami Metz More

Worst Experience Ever! I brought my 2009 Honda Accord from Jim Coleman Honda, Clarksville, Md, and have been getting my car serviced at this location for many years. Recen I brought my 2009 Honda Accord from Jim Coleman Honda, Clarksville, Md, and have been getting my car serviced at this location for many years. Recently, I moved to Harford County and was so happy to find a Honda dealership near my home. Expecting the same service or better from Belair Honda, I was sadly mistaken. On Oct 25, 2014, I brought my vehicle in for a regular maintenance oil change and specifically asked my service rep to take a look at my brakes. When my car was done I’d asked if my brakes where okay or not. The rep went to the back( I guess to ask the techinican) then returned to say my brakes are fine and i should be good until my next oil change, but be prepared to pay $278. for front brakes and another $278 , for back brakes. He suggested that i get all four wheels done at once. Three weeks later I began to hear a hollowing sound when I backed up my car, not knowing what this was I thought to call and make an appointment with Belair Honda. Upon my arrival I was greeted by JR Hamilton, who was very short with me from the very begining. He informed me that there was going to be a $138. or so charge for the tech to diagnose my car. I agreed to pay this amount and waited to hear the diagnoses. Mr. Hamilton called me over, shaking his head and looking very worried to say that i’d let my brakes go down to metal against metal. I began to explain that i was just in to get an oil change and your co-worker told me that my brakes was okay. At this time, the service manager Rick Tillotson walks over and I began to explain what happened and he suggested that the tech check my calibers? The calibers checked out fine. He shakes/and high fives Mr. JR Hamiltons hand and walks away. I thought this was unprofessionally because he could clearly see that I was upset. The tech came out and wanted know if he needed to stay and work on my car because they where getting ready to close. Directing my questions to the technician, I'd asked how could my brakes go down so fast in three weeks. As he began to respond, JR Hamilton rudely interupts to say “ Miss what are you going to do? The cashier wants to go home and I need your answer now! Again, I’m feeling very uncomfortable. I called my husband to get his advice and whether to get the work done. To sum up, I got my car serviced for my safety and thought to myself I’ll never come here again. Worst Experience Ever! More

I live and work in Bel Air and the closest Acura Dealership is an hour away. At first I was a little hesitant about taking my car anywhere other than a Acura dealership, but after speaking with a member of the service department over the phone and JR Hamilton upon arrival I felt like I had made the right decision. This being my first vehicle service I had a lot of questions and JR was very knowledgable and took the time to answer all of them. The technicians did a great job with the service and even washed my car as well!!! They not only squeezed me in same day and at the last minute, but they by far exhibited the best customer service I have ever experienced at a car dealership. I will be taking my car to Bel Air Honda for ALL future services and look forward to seeing JR and the rest of the Bel Air Honda staff again! More
