It isn't about the customer anymore its about get the car fixed and pay the bill and see you later. Well, I have to take the time to say I have found the dealership and the service writer that has changed my mind. I had a strange sound from my brakes and took my Honda to the dealership I bought it from and was told, there's nothing wrong, its just the brakes squealing because of brake dust. Nooo, it was raining and they are disc brakes. I may be a woman but I'm not stupid. I took it to the ford dealer right down the road, and I needed rear brakes and they were new just like the front brakes. Then on my way to my nephews soccer game in Bel Air, I stopped at Bel air Honda and met Bridget. She treated me as though I had been a customer for years, explained the "we have to be able to reproduce the sound" and did. She then explained to me that the squeal was actually a stone caught in the brake pad, and how to resolve the issue. WOW I was floored to be treated like a customer that mattered and because the brakes were new there could be NO issue.Well there sure was. I will drive 38 miles out of my way for such great service. Thank you Bridget. You have myself and 4 other family members coming your way. More

First Experience With Bel Air Honda's Service Department I purchased my new 2013 Honda Civic EX-L NAV from another Honda dealership located in northeast Baltimore county at the end of March 2013. My visits I purchased my new 2013 Honda Civic EX-L NAV from another Honda dealership located in northeast Baltimore county at the end of March 2013. My visits to that service department were relatively few but trouble-free, because the car does not get a lot of mileage put on it. It is 41 months old and has 25,500 miles on it. It did have a warranty item repaired a while back About three weeks ago, the dealer-installed (at time of purchase) interior auto dimming rear view mirror with a compass, stopped working. It was a genuine Honda factory accessory. So I went to the aforementioned dealer to see about having it fixed, replaced or removed to have a manual mirror installed. The very young (and inexperienced) service advisor had the mirror looked at and informed me that it would cost $455.00 (parts and labor) to replace it. Knowing that the warranty period was a little over four months past but less than 36,000 miles, I then asked what it would cost to replace the mirror with a manual day/night mirror. The service advisor told me that I would have to go to the parts department to price that mirror. I told the advisor that it was not my job to do theirs and asked for the service department’s manager. I was told that he was not available. Rather than debate the issue,I took the estimate with me and left. I went home and then decided to drive to Bel Air Honda as I live between the two dealerships. I arrived at Bel Air Honda and noticed that they were very busy. I asked if I could take a few minutes of a service advisor’s time and get some help with my rearview mirror. Service Advisor Alton Thodos came over to my car and I told him about the mirror’s probem. I told him that the car’s warranty had expired, time-wise, but not mileage-wise. I asked Mr. Thodos if I could have the mirror replaced with a manual one. He told me that, although a manual mirror could be installed easily, the self-dimming mirror should not have failed with the low mileage and offered to contact the regional Honda manager to see if it could be replaced under an extended/goodwill warranty. I gave him all the information to start the process, thanked Mr, Thodos and left. Later that afternoon, the Service Manager from the other dealer called me and offered to contact the regional manager for help as well. I told him that would be fine. He told me that someone would call me in a few days to advise me if a replacement under warranty could be approved. However, I also kept in over close contact with Mr. Thodos. The first service advisor eventually left me a voice mail to call the dealership. I was not able to call back for a few days and eventually did leave a message after a first attempt to speak directly with them. The call was not returned. Meanwhile, Mr. Thodos advised me that the mirror’s warranty replacement was approved and the parts were ordered. The parts arrived quickly and I then took my car to Bel Air Honda today to have the mirror replaced. My tire pressure warning indicator went on when I left my house, so Bel Air Honda took care of that without charge. I was a customer at the other dealer’s service department since November 2005 when I purchased my previous and first-ever Honda. After being well treated by Bel Air Honda, I will ever go back to the other dealer. I have requested the service department to have my car’s service records be transferred to Bel Air Honda. I had the other dealer's rear license plate frame removed and Bel Air Honda put their on the car. Why not? Job well done, Belair Honda! More
zero helpful This dealership is probably okay for other services but if it is not a regular thing do not expect they will go above and beyond to help you. Inspecti This dealership is probably okay for other services but if it is not a regular thing do not expect they will go above and beyond to help you. Inspection failed only by a couple percents at another automotive place because of the tint. Since we bought the car new at a Honda dealership in Texas and we didn't add tint to it I came to this dealership for help. At first they suggested I contact the dealership in Texas... when I asked them if they could recheck the tint since it was off only by a couple percents and they are a certified inspection station (it would take a couple of minutes, somebody could just take the tool out and do it even not bringing it to the shop). Well they said they won't do it unless I pay for the whole new inspection (which is $112 by the way) another service representative said Maybe it would cost $50 just to recheck. Nobody even came out to look at the car. Zero helpfulness, bad representation of Honda and taking care of the customers. We own two Hondas and they have always been serviced at Honda dealerships. Could have they helped? I felt like they just didn't want to deal with it. More

Chrissy took charge of this, and, out of my amazement, I had a car to get home. I didn't have to sit and wait! When we returned to drop off the rental car and pick up our car after service, we received the vehicle nice and clean and shiny. We then brought in our 2007 Honda Ridgeline for a full service check up. As Chrissy knows, we do a lot of camping during spring, summer, and fall, which requires a lot of towing. Chrissy, knowing this, always keeps me informed what I need to do to keep my truck running with no problems. When I did drop off the truck, I was greeted by Sean, who gave us a shuttle ride to the mall to wait while the full service was taking place. They called us when the truck was ready, picked us up, and brought us back to the service center. We are delighted at the consistent quality and above and beyond customer service Bel Air Honda and specifically, Chrissy, provide. More

Although I had purchased a Honda Care maintenance contract when I bought the car, it does not seem to be linked to my car's service record in the computer. My service advisor Andres Rebuli told me that unless I mention that I had purchased this contract to the service advisor I am dealing with I would be charged for the service. The first service is a n/c oil change and I had asked on arrival for a tire rotation as the mileage on the car indicated. I was charged for the tire rotation. I phoned Andres Rebuli the next day to tell him about this problem. He called me back very promptly and said I would be refunded the tire rotation price. He also reminded me that I must notify the service advisor of my maintenance contract whenever I come in for service. It really seems that it should be linked to the service record for the car on the computer. I'm still happy with the service I received and the respect I was treated with by Andres Rebuli. More

I was greeted by Mr. Richard Frank, who was professional, cheerful. and enthusiastic! After the service, he reviewed the Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection checklist with me and asked if he left any question I may have had unanswered. Thorough and enjoyable! Since I have been a Bel Air Honda customer for fifteen years, I have struck up relationships with many of the people in just about every department. I always say hello, if they haven't already beaten me to the punch! It's great to have that interaction, mutual smiles, and interest in you as a person! Last but not least, the Cashier, Ms. Darlene Early always has a smile and friendly, cheerful comments for me before I bid farewell and get in my car. Who knew getting your car serviced could be such an enjoyable experience! More
