When I brought my car I found out that parts they have were not compatible and the special order must be done. I was told that I must pay upfront for this special parts order. So I not only have to come for the second time through no fault of mine, but my coupon can not be used for the whole amount but only for the rest of the payment. It reduced the discount applicable. I can't agree to these rules: 1. the dealership knew in advance what parts my car needed 2. why should I pay for them before they are ordered 3. why I can not use the coupon discount for the whole amount of parts and labor. Just fix the air bags I went to dealer for recall repair. They told me I needed alignment by just sitting in car. Maybe my tires were wearing in a way that told them that. I went to dealer for recall repair. They told me I needed alignment by just sitting in car. Maybe my tires were wearing in a way that told them that. It took so long for me to get repair because I knew a dealer repair shop was going to do that. Just do the repair, if I want inspection I would ask. They won because I let them do the alignment. They gave me a list of other fixes that added up to over $1500. My car is not even worth that. Ironically my air bag light is on now.😡 Update on 1/24 returned for air bag light being on. Turned out replacement air bag was not plugged in and would not have deployed in accident. I didn't catch the name of the young man who helped me but he was good. More

Sue is the best! Sue has been extremely helpful with both of my Hondas (2012 Odyssey &2013 CR-V). I always ask for her because of her honesty and candidness. Unfortunately, I have seen too much of her because of ongoing issues with the Odyssey for the past year. More

Fraudulence and Incompetence We brought our 2014 Honda Accord in last summer for an issue that was obviously a slow AC leak. 4 visits over the course of a year and they were not We brought our 2014 Honda Accord in last summer for an issue that was obviously a slow AC leak. 4 visits over the course of a year and they were not able to find the leak. Our 2nd and 4th visits are why I am writing this review though. On our second visit, (in addition to still being unable to find the source of the leak), they tried to convince me the alignment on the car was off, even though I saw the paper the technician wrote up had a green "0" indicating it wasn't. The service manager looks at me with a straight face and says "your alignment is off" while holding the paper indicating it's not. I asked her to hand me the paper and I point to the big green box with a '0' in it. She responds "oh I was looking at the wrong car" (there was no other paper). Lied right through her teeth! We told her manager we did not want to use that service manager in our next visit, but we will be back. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it's one bad apple (little do I know...the whole tree is rotten). 3rd visit mostly uneventful - they till can't find the leak, so they do an evac+recharge and put more dye in and tell us to come back in a few weeks. Visit 4: We brought the car in on a Friday early morning (like 6am). We receive a call later in the day that the car won't be ready until Monday evening. Monday comes, they tell us they could NOT find the leak but they found 4 OTHER COMPLETELY UNRELATED things wrong with the vehicle, one being a "dead battery cell". Well I had just tested the battery 2 weeks prior through AAA and it was fine, so I knew something was off. I said to leave the battery alone it's working perfectly. I turned down their other recommended repairs and said my wife would be over there shortly, and that we will be instead taking the car to a mechanic. My wife goes to pick up the car and they pull this stunt - they drained the battery until it was dead and try to convince us we need a new one. So my wife walks in and they tell her the car won't start and it needs a new battery, and that their test showed it was dying when it got there. She tells them we will not be replacing the battery, that they could jump it and we will take it elsewhere. So what do they do? They lie to her and say it can't be jumped. So at this point my wife calls me and tells me about this whole ordeal. I tell her to relay that I said l will tow it out of there before buying a battery from them. Shortly thereafter, the manager goes out back and then MIRACULOUSLY the battery starts! "But you said it couldn't be jumped, how is it working now?" "They had the jumper cable on wrong". Let me repeat that - A HONDA SERVICE CENTER MECHANIC COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO A SIMPLE BATTERY JUMP!! If you believe that excuse, I have a bridge to sell you! This was an obvious attempt at taking advantage of a young woman walking into a service center by herself. As soon as I got on the phone and called them out the car starts running again. So we get the car and take it over to a reliable mechanic. Here's what they find: 1. Slow leak in the A/C identified immediately. The leak Heritage Honda of Bel Air couldn't find in FOUR VISITS over the course of a YEAR was identified within MINUTES by a mechanic. 2. THE BATTERY WAS ABSOLUTELY FINE, tested using TWO DIFFERENT TESTS. NO DEAD CELLS! So AAA and two additional mechanic tests showed the battery was in PERFECT CONDITION! So not only was Heritage Honda Bel Air incompetent, unable to find in FOUR VISITS the cause of our A/C leak, but they also attempted to FRAUDULENTLY misrepresent our car's battery condition, going so far as to kill the battery and pretend they couldn't jump it. I have been to many Honda service centers over the years, never have I encountered such incompetence, at a Honda service center, nor such blatantly fraudulent service. To top it off, their staff was rude to my wife, and even at one point tried to condescendingly convince her there WAS NO LEAK AT ALL in the A/C after they failed to find it, instead of just admitting their own poor quality technicians had no idea what they were doing.
