Inspection and Maintenance I needed an inspection and a few items repaired. Alternator replacement. Unfortunately the 2015 F-450 with the V-10 gas engine and the "snow plow prep" package does not have enough battery/alternator power to run the plow a Unfortunately the 2015 F-450 with the V-10 gas engine and the "snow plow prep" package does not have enough battery/alternator power to run the plow and run the truck. There is no room under the hood to add a second battery as the diesel engine models have that would prevent the electrical drain trouble we have had (dim lights, hesitation backing up, slow wipers and defroster when operating the plow) when the plow was operated. Ford told me they are not responsible for aftermarket equipment, even a snow plow their dealer sold us installed on a new F-450 truck with the snow plow prep package. Heritage worked with us in 2015 to install an aftermarket 270 amp alternator to replace the OEM 175 amp alternator. The aftermarket alternator lasted 3 plow seasons before burning out. We obtained another alternator from the aftermarket co. and Heritage installed it and tested the electrical system. This has corrected the problem. We hope the new alternator lasts longer than the last one. More

Basic service done right I have owned several different car makes over the years. This is the first dealer that I have been able to get basic service like an oil change done I have owned several different car makes over the years. This is the first dealer that I have been able to get basic service like an oil change done without an upsell push. I made the appointment online, got the oil change done and picked up the car when it was ready. Other dealerships have always pushed me to do additional work when I get an oil change, not Heritage Ford! More

Preston remembered little details that showed his attention to his client and that goes a long way. They take great care in their products and are knowledgeable in the cars. I have one complaint only and that was transparency on what happens after you sign the documents and they begin to offer you the warranty add ons. They are wise to choose and costly and can put you beyond your “ideal spend” as it somewhat did me. i would have appreciated knowing they exist and will be offered to me before— especially since I was honest what my ceiling was on monthly spend. I can’t wait to start driving my new Escape and highly recommend heritage ford and Preston! More
