Less than twelve hours before I left for vacation, my ABS and traction control light came on on my 2015 JKU, resulting in a substantial drivability issue. Since the Heritage Jeep service center was closer to me than the dealership I bought it from, I chose to drive it there without an appointment. My Service Advisor, Alex Downey; clearly saw that I was distraught when I walked in and quickly sprang in to action. Even though he clearly was busy, with several sets of keys and invoices on his desk, and it was quickly becoming the closing time he calmed me down and listened to what my issue was. He checked for codes right in the drive aisle and hypothesized how it can be remedied. He diagnosed it as a speed sensor, explained how common it was and easily it can be fixed. He verified the availability of the replacement part, and informed me that he would touch base the next morning. Even though he didn't guarantee that he could fit it in, and he certainly didn't owe me anything, as I didn't have an appointment, he explained that he would give it a valiant effort. The next morning, he called me and let me know that it would be ready between noon and 2 PM. At 11 AM he called me to let me know that not only was the Jeep ready, he was able to submit a claim through my extended warranty company and that I was only responsible for the $100 deductible. This level of exemplary service needs to be celebrated and commended. Alex, thank you again for your help. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. More
Everything was great. Customer service was good. My only issue was there was a complete maintenance check done (my first visit here), if everything was checked why didn't they find the great big nail in my issue was there was a complete maintenance check done (my first visit here), if everything was checked why didn't they find the great big nail in my tire? The tire pressure was very low. They just inflated it and didn't check. I guess no one does a thorough job anymore. More

26May2020 I dropped my Jeep with a check engine light on at Heritage Harrisburg. The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plug at Heritage Harrisburg. The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plugs while they are in there. The following day I am called stating I have a blown piston and Heritage Service Manager Art Fritz told me I would have to replace the engine at $6k to $9k. Heritage Service refused to release my Jeep for a 3rd party inspection without payment of $962 for the service. I reluctantly make payment and the third party looks at the motor and provide photographic evidence that Heritage Jeep mechanic dropped a bolt into my piston chamber and subsequently started my engine and blew my engine. Heritage Jeep Parkville Service Director Matt Beckman was responsive and helpful. He forwarded the situation to the MileOne Heritage Autogroup Insurance. The insurance company is replacing the motor but the GM at Heritage Harrisburg has failed to acknowledge or even respond to multiple attempts to contact him regarding recouping the $962 in parts and labor that is the direct cause of my engine failure. Not only has the GM failed to contact me, the service manager was directing me that the payment would be refunded through insurance and the insurance company states it needs to be paid by the dealer. Thus, I am still playing middle man with out my jeep and without my money back. I hope Heritage Jeep Harrisburg does the right thing by contacting me, refunding my money and apologize for the hoops I have had to jump threw for the past 5 weeks with my Jeep that you broke and tried to get me to pay to fix. Otherwise this is an example of failure at the mechanics level, service manager level and GM level. More
