FRAUDALANT WARRANTY WORK ,NOT DONE. on 9/23/14 i had my new RAM 1500 express ,7000 miles on it ,brought in for an appointment,to have new radio installed, due to it not working after the on 9/23/14 i had my new RAM 1500 express ,7000 miles on it ,brought in for an appointment,to have new radio installed, due to it not working after the transmitter recall did not work on my uconnect5 , plus on the ticket were 2 other thing that were covered under warranty that i asked them to do, 1)front end alignment & 2)rotate all 4 tires, due to bad alignment. well later that evening i picked up my RAM & 1;no alignment was ever done, & 4 wheel tire rotation was not done either, AS STATED ON SERVICE BILL AS BEING COMPLETED !. HOW DO I KNOW , I MARKED ALL 4 WHEELS INSIDE RIM WITH NUMBERS ,1,2,3,4 .starting at front driver-side wheel, then right front ,then right rear & finally left rear being number 4 . the reason i did this is ,i had a bad experience with mile one in 2011 & won against them on the Magnuson Moss Act of 1975. ( LEMON LAW) I HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO Matt Beckmann service dept. manager. now since they fraudulently claimed warranty work that was not done & deceived me, it's that time to retain a lawyer, anyone else who reads this , look up MAGNUSON MOSS ACT OF 1975. He road me a half of a mile and installed the battery in my car. This is supperior customer service. I value his advice on any needed repairs. He is completely honest and trustworthy. The service department is the main reason I have purchased seven vechiles from Heritage. Thanks to George and Mr. Jim . Don More
Sarah Slokan quoted a price of $1,405 (including tax) to fix my 2004 Dodge Durango's right side exhaust manifold. She quoted $323 for parts and $990 for 9 hours of labor. She gave me the list of parts that fix my 2004 Dodge Durango's right side exhaust manifold. She quoted $323 for parts and $990 for 9 hours of labor. She gave me the list of parts that were needed for the job and I called another Dodge dealer's Parts Department to check the pricing. When I called her back and questioned her addition she immediately recalculated the quote at $189 for parts. Thompson Dodge on North Point Blvd. did the job for $580. $458 in labor, and $85 in parts. It took them half the time that she quoted. BE CAREFUL. If she lied about the only thing that I could prove was inflated, what else do you think that she was inflating? I am not a mechanic. If I had not questioned her on the price breakdown we would have overpaid by $900. Parts that Sarah said I needed ($189): 2 exhaust manifold gaskets 2 heat shields 24 nuts and bolts 2 exhaust attached hardware kits Parts that Thompson used ($85): 4 Exhaust manifold bolts 4 Nut-hex flange lock 2 Nut-hex flange lock 2 Bolt-hex head 1 Exhaust Manifold Gasket 4 Stud-double ended This is especially disappointing because my family has bought 3 cars here in the last few years. One would think that our business would matter more to them. More
We've brought my wife's car in several times over the past month. First it was the water pump and serpentine belt, then it was the compressor, and now it's something else. Even though these are all inter past month. First it was the water pump and serpentine belt, then it was the compressor, and now it's something else. Even though these are all interrelated things, as admitted by the dealership, they're not honoring the 12 month warranty on the parts and covering our costs. I've had similar problems with my VW Passat. The car was taken in for a routine maintenance, and lo and behold, they break the brake fluid resevoir, and it's my responsibility to pay for it. Clearly, the quality of work is bad. The website claims that their top priority is customer satisfaction and quality, and yet, their quality of workmanship is very poor. The price is bad becuase I continue to waste money on new and developing problems that continue to crop up even though they say the car is "fine" More
My wife and I bought a 2005 Chrysler 300 from them in November of 2004. We have had quite a few problems with the vehicle. The car currently has 70,000 miles on it. We bought the extended service warrant November of 2004. We have had quite a few problems with the vehicle. The car currently has 70,000 miles on it. We bought the extended service warranty which lasted until September 2010. All of our scheduled service has been performed at this dealer. In 2008 we took it in for a vibration problem. Sara said they had to rework the valves and basically redo the top half of the engine. This did not fix the problem and Sara told my wife that there was nothing else wrong with the car. I ended up calling Jim(the manager) and he set up a meeting with me himself and a rep from Chrysler. The three of us took the car for a test drive and of course they could now hear and feel what we were talking about. The Chrysler rep found a service bulletin describing a computer upgrade that needed to be done. Amazingly, this took care of the problem that we were made to feel we were imagining. There are other problems but the latest is the worst. I took the car in for the front end which seemed to be hitting bumps hard. Sara called and said it needed front shocks(she said they were leaking), new sway bar linkage and bushings and a front end alignment which would cost about $900.00. They just replaced the struts in May2010. I called a mechanic that works on my other vehicles and he told me to bring it over. He checked everything and found no leakage but just the center sway bar bushing needed replacement. My bill was $119.00. He said the leakage in the shocks was bogus that some places use to sell you something you don't need. I am still steaming over this and wonder how many other things we have paid for these last 6 years that were unnecessary. I will end by saying beware of what they tell you and always get a 2nd opinion. Thanks More
I went to the dealership for service and was promptly received. The engine light had been on. The service writer, Sarah Slokan, called about two hours latter and told me what the problem was as well as s received. The engine light had been on. The service writer, Sarah Slokan, called about two hours latter and told me what the problem was as well as some other problems, such as a brake light that was burned out. She also went over the price of the job. Repairing the brake light could have possibly saved a ticket or a rear end collision. I have had my Jeep repaired before and the service was very good that time also. More
