Victor Clash is a crook!! My dodge avenger wouldnt start so I hired a mobile mechanic to come out and take a look at it. he determined that my key had gone bad and needed to be My dodge avenger wouldnt start so I hired a mobile mechanic to come out and take a look at it. he determined that my key had gone bad and needed to be reprogrammed to the wireless control module. he explained that only Dodge could fix the problem so I arranged to have the car towed to Heritage Dodge. When I dropped the car off I explained what I already knew and Victor Clash immediately said "well that may or may not be the problem, I'll call you later to let you know what we find"..he called me 3 days later and said that I needed a new starter and starter solenoid and it would cost $1027 to repair. His diagnosis was totally different from what the previous mechanic told me, and far more expensive. i asked Mr Clash if he had actually hooked the car up to the "diagnosis machine" and he assured me that he had. i told him that $1027 was way more than I expected I was told that the problem was the key/wcm issue and that i couldnt afford the repairs. i told him that I would pick the car up and take it to my dads mechanic. I picked up the car and paid $100 for the diagnostic fee. I arranged to have the car towed again unnessarily because when I arrived to get the car it "miraculously" started...how could the car start suddenly if it needed a new starter?? This raised my suspicion that I was being flim flammed by a bunch of crooks. i paid for my diagnosis report, bought a new starter and paid $600 (including parts labor and towing)..2 days later my car broke down again!!! I called Mr Clash and he never answered or returned my calls. i ended up taking the car to Mussleman Dodge, who quickly and efficiently diagnosed the real problem which was in fact just a bad key. Victor Clash is a crook who tried to cheat me out of $1027 and caused me to spend $600 plus the cost of a rental car for no reason!! I would never recommend anyone to such a shady establishment. shame on you Victor Clash and shame on Heritage Dodge for employing such a dishonest shady person. More

We drove from Christiansburg, Virginia to Heritage to look at the Journey, it was exactly what we wanted, so we bought it that day. So pleased with this vehicle!!! More
BUYER BEWARE! Warning. Please read below. On three different dates, I drove an hour to Mile One Heritage AutoPark Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat in Owings Mills, Maryland, to look at, test drive On three different dates, I drove an hour to Mile One Heritage AutoPark Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat in Owings Mills, Maryland, to look at, test drive, and possibly buy my next Jeep. Because at this specific dealership, there was a Back Country Special Edition on the lot. For the record, over those three visits, I never got the chance to test drive that specific Jeep, talked to six different associates and managers, was turned away and asked to come back at a later date, and was made promises of a price cut that were never even close to being honored. On 1/30/2016, I went to Mile One Heritage AutoPark Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat around two o'clock in the afternoon. I wanted to speak with Tim...who I recently spoke with over the phone. He could not be found, so Jasmine Surveint, a sales associate offered me help. I sat with her, explaining that I wanted to build my own Jeep, because the model on the lot did not have some of the options that I wanted factory-made. For example, I wanted an automatic transmission, tow package, and automatic start. I also wanted to know if the same price cut would be honored if I built a Jeep (rebate of $5258 on the current Back Country model on the lot). At this time, since she was new, she enlisted the help of her sales manager, Jeff Webber. When Jeff came to talk to me, I explained that I wanted to build a Back Country and that I wanted to know if I could get the current price cut of $5258, which was the current price cut of the Jeep on the lot. He informed me that it was the end of the month, and he needed all of his associates’ time spent selling the cars on his lot. He also requested that I come back another time at the start of the new month because he would need to take the time with me and go into another screen. Even though I drove over an hour to get there, I said that I would be back the next Saturday when they opened. At this same time, I asked three times and he confirmed three times (in front of the sales associate, my friend, and me) that "YES" I would get that same price cut ($5258 price cut no matter what), he said yes, again and again; he just couldn't do the order at that moment. On 2/6/2016, I once again drove an hour to Mile One Heritage AutoPark Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat, sat down with Jasmine the sales associate, and explained what I wanted. She went to get help because this was new to her. Even though Jeff Webber, the sales manager that originally spoke to me and offered me the deal was there (and not busy), the general sales manager, Ken Gower, came over to build the Jeep I wanted; he then informed me that he could not honor the price cut that the other manager promised. It was very disheartening that after driving another hour down to their dealership, the sales manager who committed to the deal, did not come and even apologize for his dishonesty. Overall, I have found the Mile One Heritage AutoPark Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat dealership to be very frustrating to deal with as a consumer, turning customers away asking them to return on another date, one that does not offer one to one customer service, and does not honor its price cute, rebates and online pricing. From the point we first saw the Back Country on the lot, the rebate was $3500 off the MSRP. After one month, the rebate was $4500; then we went to the dealership because it was priced as $5200 off. You will see that it says nothing of the “internet price.” If you look this up online now, you will see have they have changed it. I can understand if the new associate, Jasmine, priced a vehicle incorrectly (but she didn't). I feel this is very poor business ethics when a general manager and a sales manager bait and entice people down to their dealership online, verbally (face to face) with deals; then the customer shows up, and the other manager is sent over to say "I'm sorry, we can't do that deal." Just Purchased a beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee So,after a lot of misery and disappointment from Heritage Chevrolet I decided even though my truck only had alittle over 9,000 miles we needed to part So,after a lot of misery and disappointment from Heritage Chevrolet I decided even though my truck only had alittle over 9,000 miles we needed to part ways,so having ONLY ever had positive experiences with Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep I went to see Russell Troxell who has sold me 2 Jeep Libertys a Dodge Ram,a Dodge Charger and now a Jeep Grand Cherokee,(this is my 12th vehicle from the Heritage Group in 11 years),I could kick myself for not sticking with the Dodge/Jeep brands I have come to know,trust and rely upon.Today I bought a beautiful Grand Cherokee in a superb Green and fully loaded,and when I say fully loaded,I mean every extra was ticked off in every box,and being only a couple of years old,it was a CPO car an unmarked interior and uber low miles. As always,I am a pain and wander around the dealership looking at other vehicles and Russell patiently tracks me down to go forward with the deal.Also Ken Gower,(Kenny) is very patient with me as I usually buy a car alone but don't go forward without my wife's ok (we both earn the money so we both make a decision),Anyhoo.......I originally went to look at a silver CPO Grand Cherokee but found out this green one was just going through its MSI so the dealership was kind enough to let me look at it while in the service dept,(those guys rock as well) and thought Russell may have had a head cold when he told me the price(yep,the price was THAT good),so figured I could wait one extra day and then test drive it.Boy was I impressed,drove like it had delivery mileage only,leather smell in the car is fresh,has no creases,scuffs or wear anywhere,uConnect with touch screen works flawlessly,panoramic sunroof is HUGE and a big selling point for me,combined with the Green body there was no way I was leaving the lot without it. Kenny had already worked out some numbers so I knew where I would be on $$$ (which landed well within what I figured I would spend),so was just a case of signing a WAD of paperwork with the Manager Jamie and I was good to go. Russell had the car re cleaned(was only done the day before) put my tags on,helped me transfer all my stuff from my Chevy to my Jeep,(he was doing this in between helping other customers),then spent time going through the features of the Jeep,I LOVE the smart key and push to start button,that paired with the remote start put a smile on my face. My point being,after writing all this,I was about to give up on Heritage but decided to go see some friendly faces who have ALWAYS taken GOOD care of me,and after listening to me vent my spleen they took care of me and I have a great vehicle at a GREAT price,plus it's CPO and took a 3 year service contract with the Service Dept.Those guys are great too,every time I have been to the Service Dept it's always been a great experience,even though,like everyone,I hate parting with $$$ ?? they make it less painful. This isn't someone gushing because they got a new car,it's a 12th time buyer who was taken good care of for the 11th time.Have a very dim view of Chevrolet after sales,but Dodge Jeep have never done anything other than good. Be very careful!!! Just recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Compass, from this dealer. The buying experience was just mildly pleasant and the financing process was awful.
