26May2020 I dropped my Jeep with a check engine light on. The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plugs while they are in ther The Jeep drove fine minus the check engine light. I am told they need to replace the oil cooler, oil pressure sensor and plugs while they are in there. The following day I am called stating I have a blown piston and Heritage Service Manager Art Fritz told me I would have to replace the engine at $6k to $9k. Heritage Service refused to release my Jeep for a 3rd party inspection without payment of $962 for the service. I reluctantly make payment and the third party looks at the motor and provide photographic evidence that Heritage Jeep mechanic dropped a bolt into my piston chamber and subsequently started my engine and blew my engine. MileOne Heritage Autogroup Insurance is replacing the motor but the GM at Heritage Harrisburg has failed to acknowledge or even respond to multiple attempts to contact him regarding recouping the $962 in parts and labor that is the direct cause of my engine failure. Not only has the GM failed to contact me, the service manager was directing me that the payment would be refunded through insurance and the insurance company states it needs to be paid by the dealer. I hope you guys do the right thing by contacting me, refunding my money and apologize for the hoops I have had to jump threw for the past 5 weeks with my Jeep that you broke and tried to get me to pay to fix. Otherwise this is an example of failure at the mechanics level, service manager level and GM level. More

Service was performed but took much longer than it should've Went in for the "Quick Lane" lube express. I was told it would take about an hour. Had a coupon, Synthetic oil change $65. There were 2 other people waiting for their vehicles. After an 1 1/2 hours I asked if it was ready. Reply; "It should be right down." After 2 1/2 hrs I saw my truck sitting in the pick-up area. I asked again and was told "we're working on the paperwork, they should be right with you". That took another 1/2 hr. Altogether the "Quick Lube" took 3 hrs ( was told new computer system and the regular guy quit) and it cost $92 (coupon was for 5qts, my truck takes 7qts. (They charge $10qt) Would've been faster, cheaper and much closer to go to Jiffy Lube. More
Poor service department Worst service experience ever. Will not be back and do not recommend. Scheduled an appointment, but received a call around close of business that they did not get to it. The next day, called to inform the state inspection failed for wiper blades. More on that later. Even after taking an extra day to work on the vehicle, they still wanted to charge a labor fee to install the wiper blades. Most places would comp that, especially after taking an extra day to work on the vehicle. Replaced the blades myself in the parking lot. They reviewed that replacement was made, then went to lunch for an hour, instead of putting the sticker on and getting me on my way. After lunch the sticker was put on, only to find out they forgot about the oil change. Even argued we did not ask for one. Eventually pulled up the order and drop-off envelope to see, in deed, it was asked for. While waiting for all this, overheard multiple other vehicles failed inspection for, you guessed it, WIPER BLADES. Amazing how that happens. More

I purchased a new 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn that needed to have some factory defects corrected. I am very pleased with the way I was treated by Art and his team. Art showed genuine concern for my service needs. I've had experiences with quite a few dealership service departments in my lifetime and Art runs his service department above all others, in a way that puts the customer's needs first. Art even kept in communication with me about my upcoming service visit on his own time on his day off! I'm very impressed. More
