You are correct. It is unacceptable for an employee to fail to wear a mask while a customer is in his or her office. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. In the month since you purchased your vehicle, we have taken additional steps to prevent a similar situation from occurring in the future. We now require all employees AND customers to wear a mask while inside the dealership. We have been able to obtain enough masks to provide them to all of our employees, as well as any customers who forgot theirs at home. As you mentioned, we have also installed protective barriers in high-traffic areas to further limit contact. Finally, we have educated every dealership employee on the best practices for reducing the spread of COVID-19, including wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and washing hands regularly throughout the day. We apologize for your experience and hope that you are enjoying your new vehicle.
