Michael at Herb Gordon Subaru provided exactly the type of service I crave! He was not smarmy or condescending- he treated me as an equal. As a woman, That really matters- I’m so tired of condescending car of service I crave! He was not smarmy or condescending- he treated me as an equal. As a woman, That really matters- I’m so tired of condescending car guys!! Instead, we just discussed the needs of my car. He offered several options and explained pros and cons objectively. This is just what I want — to intelligently discuss a holistic strategy for my car. I never felt pressured, I felt informed. So that in itself would have been perfect, but on top of that Michael was tremendously flexible, always available and really just an excellent person to do business with. He was so laid back about schedule changes that I needed to make (my last car company was NEVER flexible!) I guess what I most want others to know is that this really was the best interaction I’ve ever had with car repair. Everyone there was great. You can ask anyone for help and they smile and immediately respond. It’s a bit of a haul for me distance-wise to get to this dealership- but I definitely will be back. 30k service for 2018 Forester XT I was very grateful to Vitaliy and Herb Gordon Subaru who fitted me in as a walk-in for one of the major services for my 2018 Forester XT. I had a lo I was very grateful to Vitaliy and Herb Gordon Subaru who fitted me in as a walk-in for one of the major services for my 2018 Forester XT. I had a lot going on with work that day and while I could work remotely for awhile, I needed to get into the office as well. The car was ready a few minutes sooner than the time Vitaliy promised! I'm not sure whether it's just part of the normal check-up, but it seemed as though Vitaliy went over and above by doing a walkaround of the car and noting dents I had received and telling me about services available to potentially resolve them. This is my first time visiting this dealership and it's extremely likely that I'll return. More
