John Concetti, our long term and trusted serv Wednesday, March 21st, brought my 2010 Chevy Impala in for Lube, Oil & Filter Change Service @ 7:30 AM. John Concetti, our long term and trusted service adviser as usual John quickly had the car ready by 8:33 AM with attention to details i.e. lubing the door hinges with white lube to reduce wear. I was on my way with the LOF. The Herb Connolly Chevrolet Dealership has a true family feeling. Over the years when I was on the road flying out Sunday night and returning Friday night John always help my wife care for our two cars in a way that made her safe and secure. John Concetti, our service adviser is the major reason for our dealership selection and continued patronage. John has been our service contact with at this dealership and has been were very helpful over the years. I always feel when I leave the dealership that the service was performed correctly and John paid personnel attention to every service detail. John is truly a credit to the Herb Connolly dealership. Fantastic Service I contacted the service department and was transferred to John Concetti I explained the symptoms I was experiencing from my 2012 Volt John at that poi I contacted the service department and was transferred to John Concetti I explained the symptoms I was experiencing from my 2012 Volt John at that point seemed to understand the problem and we made an appointment. I arrived on the day and was greeted with the utmost of respect from everyone.I asked for John and was directed to him he remembered the phone conversation and had the mechanic look at my car.John later called me back outside and told me about the problem and said that I should not drive it home. I asked for a loaner car he said he was not sure and asked for me to wait not even 5 minutes later John paged me and said the loaner is outside and ready for me to my surprise it was a 2017 Volt he said to use as long as necessary. I am so grateful for the treatment I have received and I have not left the service department yet. Here is the best part of my experience John contacted me practically everyday to keep me aware of the progress being done with my car I am very impressed thank you John you and the Dealership took care of me like I was a VIP and I appreciate it. The repair that was preformed on the car I want to thank the mechanic or mechanics involved in the timely response in the repair of the car the diagnosis preformed and knowing what failed the mechanics have been great as well the car runs just like the day I bought it. In my future needs I will be returning to have all of my repairs when needed. So thank you all again. More
Outstanding customer experience. I went in for a repair. Mel (the device rep) was supportive and communicated clearly with me. Alas, to no avail, but throughout it all Mel was understanding of my frustration and disappointment while providing me the best support possible. If I need more service from a dealer I will definitely head back to work with Mel. More

Would Not Address Special Service Coverage from GM I brought my 2009 Traverse for transmission issues and was told I needed a new transmission. When I asked that my car be assessed for GM's special ser I brought my 2009 Traverse for transmission issues and was told I needed a new transmission. When I asked that my car be assessed for GM's special service coverage bulletin #14404, a well documented issue with broken wave plates affecting gears & transmission, I was told it was not my issue despite the fact service did not inspect my wave plate and my service advisor claimed my reverse gear was not impacted . When I pressed the issue, I was told I would have to pay for 8+ hrs of labor to assess for the wave plate and my service advisor Justin S. said the special coverage didn't apply to my car any way while also stating how difficult it was for dealerships to get reimbursed by GM for special coverages. Given that I no longer had any trust that service would address, I decided to collect my car and go elsewhere. When I arrived to pick it up, Justin drove my car to front of shop and couldn't get my car to go into reverse after 4-5 attempts. I alerted him that it did, in fact, appear I had an issue with reverse gear, to which his response was, "well, you need a new transmission". Long story short, I had my transmission broken down at an independent shop for $150 (not 8 hrs of labor!!!) and my wave plate was broken in 3 places. New transmission installed. Now Chevrolet doesn't want to honor their special coverage b/c I did not have service at the dealership. DO THE RIGHT THING HERB CONNOLLY and rectify this with Chevrolet by taking ownership for your service department not properly handling. More
