We were not planning on buying a car until next year but the old one couldn't make it so were under the gun to find a new one. I did a search on auto trader and found the Suburban I was looking for at Herb Connolly. I called and was immediately put in touch with Lou Bove. I was very anxious in purchasing a used car, however, Lo was looking for at Herb Connolly. I called and was immediately put in touch with Lou Bove. I was very anxious in purchasing a used car, however, Lou was extremely patient and reassuring in helping me will every question and concern I had. I also had some concerns like a broken power seat, and others that Lou assured me the dealership would take care of. I am going in tomorrow to get everything addressed. Lou has continued to be very responsive and helpful. While I may have some concerns on the car, I don't have any with relationship I have built with the dealership - specifically because of Lou Bove. The sales staff was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and used no gimmicks or pressure to "force" me to purchase a vehicle. I choose the 2010 Avalanche and I could not be happier. The entire transaction from start to finish was probably one of the easiest, simple, organized and enjoyable car buying experiences that I have had. John, my sales guy, was fantastic. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed and had a fantastic knowledge of the Avalanche. Even the managers, finance guys and the repair guys were friendly, courteous and professional. I give the overall experience an A+ and would buy another vehicle from this dealer again without hesitation. More

I had a problem with the battery of my T/B SS two day in a row being completely discharged and suspected the shock compressor continuing to cycle when car was shut off. Called Herb Connolly's (where I purchased the vehicle)and described the problem. The service desk told me to bring the car in right away, I told them I needed a car...no problem. When I arrived, they were waiting for me and noticed that the state inspection was due and offered to take care of it. I also needed maintenance service. we went through the list and in a few minutes, I was on my way. Later that day, I was called to tell me what they found wrong and asked me if it was ok to leave the car overnight as the part would arrive in the morning. It was explained that they would then test it a while to make sure the car was fine, then call me. This all happened as explained. When I arrived, my car was clean and ready to go. Service was friendly, thoughtful, thorough, and professional. Every time I've visited this dealer, my experience has been the same. I highly recommend this operation. More

I came to Herb Connolly Chevrolet to buy because of the amazing service that I always received from Jay and Justin in the Service Department. I can not tell you how amazing Paul Santoro was as a salesman. He went out of his way to be helpful and find me the vehicle that (I thought) I wanted. However, when I later decided that I infact wanted a different vehicle he and Brendan went beyond the call of duty to help me into another vehicle without a skipped beat! They never hesitated or waivered in their service and I was so glad that I'd picked Herb Connolly. When this dealership says that they want to be sure you are 100% happy- they REALLY mean it. There is no other way in the world that they could be the #2 dealership in the state without doing any advertising- all of their customers are repeats or have come to them through word of mouth! This dealership was absolute perfection. From the moment I walked into an extremely clean showroom I felt very comfortable and very at ease. After explaining my family situation and what I was looking for, his expertise and knowledge of the product was very reassuring. The first car he showed us was exactly what me and my family was looking for. This showed me he was listening to my needs and delivered sound advise. This was very unusual for a car dealership. He suggested we continue looking around. He was not pushy about this, he just wanted to make sure we were happy with what we were looking at. He stayed in the back round while my wife and I looked around and talked. Mr Santoro was nearby but we did not get the impression he was eavesdropping. This problem has happened at other dealerships and it turned us off, causing us to leave right away. Mr. Santoro had all the answers to our questions, we did not feel any pressure at any time during our buying process. After we decided to purchase the car, there was no bickering or prodding back and forth about price. This was extremely refreshing. We knew what other dealerships were offering. Mr. Santoro and Mr. Connolly were right on target with the price and the offer for our trade in. Buying a car should be a fun experience. The other dealerships we went to took all the fun out of the buying process. At Connolly's we got a great price, and we had a great time. Upon delivery, we were surprised to find the car was ready ON TIME. The car was perfectly clean, with a full tank of gas. Mr. Santoro went over every square inch of the car. His explanations of the nuances of the car were right on target. He did such a great job we really didn't have any questions. This buying experience was fantastic.
