We needed to find a truck on very short notice due to a major breakdown in a vehicle needed for cross country trip within a few days. We had a number of specific requirements, and four people who wanted to major breakdown in a vehicle needed for cross country trip within a few days. We had a number of specific requirements, and four people who wanted to test drive the vehicle and participate in the decision. The dealership was very cooperative in showing us multiple SUVs and trucks that fit our requirements, and allowing us to bring home the two that were most likely to work for us (on two different nights). That allowed everyone could test drive them and feel comfortable with the choice. The salespeople did not pressure us to buy, and recommended economical sources (not their dealership) for some of the add-ons we wanted (e.g., tonneau cover, flaps, bull bar). The dealership processed the paperwork, insurance, etc very quickly and we were able to complete the purchase within our timetable. Our son is now using his new Silverado to move across the country and is delighted with the truck. He's called the salesman, who gave us his cell phone number, with a few follow up questions about features on the truck. They've been answered right away. We are all very happy that we could buy a new Silverado with all the features we wanted about the same price as used models at other dealers in our area. Overall, we've been very happy with this dealership & would buy from them again. We've been buying vehicles since 1968 in different parts of the country where we've lived. I purchased my car at this dealership, even though it was not the closest to my house. I was extremely satisfied with that process. Because of that, I felt it was worth my time to try the service departmen not the closest to my house. I was extremely satisfied with that process. Because of that, I felt it was worth my time to try the service department, even though it was a 40 minute drive from my home. I have been to the service department twice since I purchased my car in February of 2011, and I am completely satisfied with the work done. I will continue to have my car (Chevrolet Cruze) serviced here. More
The service group is outstanding. Flavio over the past couple of years and both Jay and the Service Manager in the past have been terrific. They provide clear xxxxxxand con's related to service options (ie new transmission verses getting rid of truck) and have become resources that I both trust and respect. I hope the dealership understands the value that such a service team brings to the sales effort. I don't know your sales folks but would certainly look at future purchases there and would then go to the service desks to solicit advice on the maintainabily and pro/con views of what I was looking at buying. These folks are an asset that I hope you appreciate. The customer service question is the only one that got less than a perfect score. As a customer I dont like voicemail (probably because I listen to mine once a day) but the last time I called the person who answered the phone offered me the option of Flavio's voicemail OR taking a message. I opted to leave a message with her for Flavio and felt much better about the response. Perception is important and once again - this is based on how I treat my own voicemail and not a reflection on your service. Thanks for the opportunity to comment and for the service provided. More
John made it very easy to buy a new car. I went in not knowing what I wanted and found the perfect car. I originally wanted a blue car but ended up with a red Chevy Cruise LT. While driving back from CT yesterday my check engine light came on. As I have to travel out of town again today I wanted to make sure my vehicle was ok. I drove in to see if they could check the car q light came on. As I have to travel out of town again today I wanted to make sure my vehicle was ok. I drove in to see if they could check the car quickly to make sure it was safe to drive. The service associate John Concetti was very friendly and helpful. He got me a loaner car and sad he would try and have it look at within the next couple of hours. He called an hour later to say the car was all set. I purchased my car and had it serviced at another dealer but from now on I will have it serviced at Herb Connolly. More
It seems in todays world there is less and less time to accomplish the many tasks that we have in front of us. Jay Martin has been very nice and helpful. One problem I've had has been getting calls returned. I generally had to call several times to speak to someone because I almost never got a call back. Last year I had a problem with loss of engine power. It took several visits and calls to GM before the problem was resolved by a visit from a regional-level GM mechanic. But generally, I've been treated very well at the dealership and they have been prompt and effective in addressing problems. My overall experience has been very positive and I recommend the dealer to others. More
