I purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Herb Connolly Chevrolet in Framingham, MA. When my car was totaled, I needed to start searching for a replacement. Just by chance, the rental vehicle given to me was a 2012 Equinox. I enjoyed this vehicle so much, I started to research the Equinox and moved away from the pricey BMW and Acura vehicles. I went to another Chevrolet dealership and was on a return visit to purchase my 2010 Equinox, when I had a second encounter with the sales manager who irritated me on my first visit. I ended up walking out of that dealership and started looking for different one. I came across Herb Connolly dealership on the internet and sent in an email. Even though I live in Rhode Island, I did not mind taking the drive to Framingham. I actually grew up there. The email was answered right away by Kristen(I think) who said a sales rep would contact me soon. Within the hour I received an email from Lou Bove a sales rep from Herb Connolly. He stated that he could find me a vehicle with all my needs and provided contact information. Because it was late afternoon on a Saturday I decided to wait until the next day to go and check out the dealership. I met with Lou and again told him what I was looking for. I wanted a 2012 Equinox with black leather seats and in dash navigation. I had looked at a 2010 metallic gray Equinox elsewhere and loved that color, but they did not have it in the 2012. Lou looked at his inventory on line and then took me out to see the vehicle he had in mind. The color is Gray stone metallic and it was perfect. The interior was black leather and it had in dash Navigation. There is a sun roof and the back has an automatic lift gate. I was sold right there. I did not have to look at anything else. The whole process was quick and painless. Two days later I was picking up my vehicle. Lou had it cleaned up and ready to go. He went over everything! I could not have asked for a better experience. My expectations were exceeded. I got my car back the same day, within just a few hours of dropping it off, not only fixed, but much cleaner than it was dropped off! On top of that, I was worried about the potential for high cost repairs, especially after my car was towed to the dealership. I was in shock when I saw the way lower than expected price to repair! Since I got my car back, it seems to be running better than it was before I broke down, and again, it looked immaculate when I picked up! Boy am I glad that I did. I requested an online quote and was contacted by Lou via email. He let me know that they had the specific car that I wanted so we made an appointment to meet. As soon as I walked in, I felt like family. Lou (and everyone else at Herb Connolly) made me feel like I mattered and that I was important. They gave me a great price, both on the new car, as well as my trade in, and I decided right then to cancel my order with the other dealer and go with Herb Connolly. It took about a week for my car to come in and during that time, Lou kept in contact with me. He kept his word and called when he said he was going to call which is important to me. I did not have to reach out and call him because I always knew what was going on. Once the car came in, the transaction went very smoothly. The Finance guy was great to deal with and got me a great rate. Even though there is a Chevy dealer 5 minutes from my house, I will be using Herb Connolly (30 min away) for any service needs that I have in the future. They are worth it!!! More
