My 3 year lease on my 2019 XC40 was ending in 6 months, received a call from Amanda to see if they could work something out; I ended up buying a 2021 XC40. Jason was extremely helpful in getting me a very received a call from Amanda to see if they could work something out; I ended up buying a 2021 XC40. Horrible experience purchasing a used car. They didn’t reveal that all four wheels were bent on the inside and it took me over six months and over $1000 to fix the problem. You probably will regret it big time like I did. It’s Massachusetts it’s fraudulent to not reveal things they know are wrong with a $40,000 used car. My experience with this dealership was VERY disappointing. I bought a used vehicle. At the time of purchase I asked them to check the brakes before I took possession. I live in NH so the salesman drove it to me to be present for registration. As I drove it home from town hall (1 mile from home) I noticed a clunking sound! I did test drive it but it was POURING at the time, never would have heard it. Upon NH inspection, all brakes were crap, rear didn't even pass inspection, the sway bar link was broken (also needed to pass inspection). A rag was also left on the engine and was smoldering when found on hot engine by mechanic. I told all of this to the general manager Errol Gaudette and all he had to say was to just return the vehicle. I want the vehicle but I feel it should have been given to me in "passable" condition. No offer to repair it for me, just return it.....A salesman I spoke with even had the nerve to ask me "Did you bring to an actual NH,inspection station?". and "If the brakes are bad how did you drive it? The sales man that drove it to NH says he never hit 70 mph (on 95 to 93 for an hour, yeah right?!) therefore didn't notice the shake. The whole situation was very stressful. Now I have the added expense to fix it just to drive it. I buy used because I don't have the income for new. I haven't had a "new" car in 7 yrs. I was so excited. They took the air right out of my sail. I will never recommend this place. No consideration for customer satisfaction at all. 2 thumbs DOWN!!!! More
Purchasing my car from this dealer has been a nightmare. They promised to buff out scratches on my vehicle before delivery, and the work was never done. While I understand COVID-19 has caused delays in almost everything, I had to wait 30 days for the title to get my car. On top of that, finance guy frauded me into an extended warranty that I didn't need. I was told that in order to secure the loan I needed the warranty (to which the seller gets a kickback). My lien holder informed me that was not true, and to get my $3000 back. I will be seeking legal action. The only good experience I had was with the salesman Alex. I have nothing negative to say about him. More

After a positive experience with our initial Volvo lease, we leased a second XC90 R Series with Volvo Norwood and the experience was very disappointing. 1. After terminating our first lease and leasing o we leased a second XC90 R Series with Volvo Norwood and the experience was very disappointing. 1. After terminating our first lease and leasing our second car, Volvo engaged in what felt like bait-and-switch. 1. we prepaid our car payment and the salesperson we dealt with insured us that volvo would issue an immediate refund of $695 as part of their “pay it forward” program. One year later, we still have not received a refund and the salesperson shows little concern or willingness to help. 2. we purchased the body insurance to cover small dents and blemishes. Three months after we turned in the car and terminated the lease, Volvo sent us a $500 bill for a blemish they noticed (wasn’t pointed out when we terminated our lease). We reminded them of our insurance and they removed this charge. Lastly, we received another bill from Volvo for a $2,500 sales tax charge on our first lease. This was not addressed when we turned in our first lease and signed our second lease. When we requested additional detail and explanation from our salesperson as to why we were getting this bill months after we terminated the lease on that vehicle, the Volvo sales person told us that we did not have to pay. Despite Volvo never refunding the $695 owed, they filed the $2,500 claim against our credit with no forewarning. 2. The suspension is an ongoing issue requiring multiple trips to Volvo, still with no remedy. Volvo is making great cars (work to do on the R Series suspension). It’s a shame that the sales professionals at Herb Chambers still use smoke-and-mirrors techniques from the dealerships of the past. More
