In the market for a new car, perhaps a certified pre-owned vehicle ? In my experience, sales teams share common similarity no matter the brand and/or dealership: Namely, the up-sell, pressure driven eagerness to close out a sale ‘by the end of the month’. O.K. - understandable, it’s their job and someone has to do it. Thank God it only takes a few days, for what comes next is in the years that follow. After the purchase of a vehicle, customers proceed in the responsibility of their vehicle’s maintenance. In turn, the liability of customer satisfaction becomes solely dependent upon the experiences within the service department. These encounters can make or break the client relationship. One dependable factor herein would be the reliability, through honesty and integrity, of the service department and one such employee within this dealership: Colin. I have been working directly with this ‘service gem’ for decades now on six vehicles. For me, it is simply the trust factor here, a word generally not associated as a positive trait for a car dealership. However, with Colin at my helm, I have always had confidence in the information provided to me. Through the practices and actions of this long-standing Volvo employee, I can relax and look forward to my next vehicle acquisition. The dependability of his up-front and honest explanations in the maintenance of my vehicles accompanied by the candor towards me as a person, should be an inspiration and example to his peers within his field. Nevertheless, it is a topnotch employee within the service department that makes for this outstanding review and adds superiority to this dealership in particular - but don’t take my word for it, I’m happy to keep it on the ‘DL’ and to myself for another few decades. More
