I had a great experience shopping with Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. My sales rep, Adel Nasser was great to work with. He also did a great job in helping me set up the vehicle to my specifications after purchase. He made the entire process extremely easy from beginning to end. The General Manager, Howie Reske, was also a pleasure to work with. He ensured everything ran seamlessly and was extremely attentive to what we were looking for. This was the easiest car purchase I've ever made and will be undoubtedly be back if I'm in the market for another Toyota. I recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I went to Herb Chambers in Allston, to look at a used Prius, where a nice young man named Adel showed me a good looking car that seemed like a good deal. When I said that I needed time to think about it and do some comparison, he called over a more senior salesman who told me in serious terms that the car you look at today, someone else looked at yesterday and would buy before you, if you didn't snatch it up. Passing it off as a hard sell, I went home to think on it. The next day, convinced that I'd found a good deal, I went back to buy the car. I found Adel looking worried because the car was not there but at their sister dealership up the street; someone else who had looked at it previously was coming to buy it. He called over, informing them that his customer was there now and the car was to be returned. A salesman from the other dealership arrived with the car, unhappy that he’d lost the sale, but sure I was getting a good car. I could only laugh because they had warned me just the day before. And they even gave me a little more for my trade in. So I bought the car, I still think I got a good deal, and I can only say “they told me so”. More

This is the fourth vehicle that my family has purchased and/or leased from the dynamic duo of Howie Reske and Kathie Smith. We would not go anywhere else. Ever. It is now our family's tradition to follo and/or leased from the dynamic duo of Howie Reske and Kathie Smith. We would not go anywhere else. Ever. It is now our family's tradition to follow them wherever they go -- and we have. So much so that their locale determines what kind of car we buy! They take care of my children as if they were their own -- putting them in vehicles that makes the most sense for their needs and budgets. For many people, buying a car is a dreaded experience, but not for us. We look forward to it because they make it so easy. Right now, I am looking forward to my next vehicle and wondering what it will be! Thank you again, Kathie and Howie, for another addition to our Herb Chambers fleet! More
Overall experience at HCT was great. The sales rep who assisted me, in leasing my first 2012 Toyota Prius, Biola Balogun was phenomenal. He was very meticulous in his approach and delivery and very forthc assisted me, in leasing my first 2012 Toyota Prius, Biola Balogun was phenomenal. He was very meticulous in his approach and delivery and very forthcoming with whatever questions I inquired about. He wasnt pressuring me to get a car. I explained my preferences and wanted a competitive deal on my vehicle. Needless to say Biola met my requests with great care. I test drove two vehicles and during each test drive, Biola explained all the nuances of each vehicle, particularly the Prius and its computer system and functionality. Great guy and great customer service. I do think they should add some light snacks other than the apples, but that becasue i went to the HC lexus dealership and they had a full on snack bar (complimentary) HC should do that in all his dealerships. I’m a recent college grad and was shopping around for a car so that I could commute to work. Checking out various dealerships throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, nobody was more helpful and friend car so that I could commute to work. Working with them, we narrowed down my potential choices till I picked the perfect Corolla. I would recommend that anyone looking for a Toyota to contact them to help you out. I know that the next time I’m looking for a car, this’ll be the first place I’ll check out. More
The place started out fine until Kenny came over and started "helping" us. He asked us the standard (but annoying) "what do we need to do to get your business today?". My husband and I got rather excited and Kenny asked for my credit card to get the process started while we were instructed to go pick out a color. When we returned, Kenny sat down and reassured us that "everything is good" and went over the deal. Only problem was that the price jumped $20 a month. I had to specifically ask if the original deal was off the table because Kenny was insisting this price was a great deal (the price was back to the original number at this point). My husband was furious with his bait and switch tactics but I liked the car so we continued talking to him. We came to another agreement at an in-between price. Kenny went to "check something", came back and did the same exact thing only this time, instead of going back to the starting price, he actually went higher all the while assuring us that this was a "great deal"! We were disgusted with his business ethics and tactics. After we wasted 3 hours there, I had to ask for my credit card back. We left disppointed and angry. We did email the manager informing them of our experience and they did call us back to apologize. However, at that point we had already experienced much better customer service elsewhere and decided to forego the Rav 4 entirely. Toyota's loss, Chevy's gain! So if you go here, make sure you stay away from Kenny. He comes off very polite and friendly, but he's slimy and unethical! More
