We have had a GREAT experience with Michael Pucciarelli from Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. He was recommended to us by a family member who also purchased a car from Michael and he certainly lived up to from Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. He was recommended to us by a family member who also purchased a car from Michael and he certainly lived up to the recommendation! Michael was friendly and straight forward and worked very hard to help us to find the car that we wanted for a price we were comfortable with. I highly recommend Michael and the dealership as whole! Howie was the only manager that listened to what we wanted and didn’t try to sell us anything else. From the first moment I spoke to him on the phone, I was impressed by his professionalism and desire to get us in the Toyota 4runner we wanted. Due to the recent release of the 2014 model, the particular 4runner we wanted was not available this side of the Mississippi. Howie put his people to work. In just a short time, they were able to locate the exact truck on a ship in route to the U.S. In my experience, most dealerships would not put in the effort that Howie and his team did to secure the vehicle and make the sale happen. The 4runner arrived on schedule, was prepared perfectly and ready to go when I went in to finalize the paperwork. My salesman Sen took the time to describe each feature of the truck and made sure I didn’t stay any longer than I had too. Mark the finance manger explained all of the available options and didn’t pressure me into any I didn’t want. I write this review to let you know that Howie and his team went above and beyond for me, and for that, I will gladly drive past the four Toyota dealerships on my way to Herb Chambers for my next Toyota. We bought our last car from Chambers Toyota. This time we dealt with Justin B. in sales and Mark C. the business manager. We'd done a good bit of study and prep before going in. Justin was great from the beg dealt with Justin B. in sales and Mark C. the business manager. We'd done a good bit of study and prep before going in. Justin was great from the beginning. He's a total car geek who had tons of data about the Prius at his fingertips. He listens well, figured out what we were looking for, gave us much helpful info, and didn't push anything else -- no up-selling. When we went back to make the purchase he was straightforward and no xx all the way. We wanted one additional piece of equipment on the car and he found a way to do it (usually it's part of a package). A friendly, personable, helpful guy -- the opposite of the stereotype "car salesman". Mark was helpful in getting all the paperwork done efficiently, and made no attempts to sell add-ons when we made it clear we were not interested -- the opposite of the stereotype "F&I guy". Both of them made this quite pleasant, not least because we worked out a very good price for the car (judging from Edmunds, Kelley, and TrueCar data). We had a positive experience start to finish and would recommend the dealership...ask for Justin when you go in! More
I echo other's favorable responses to Haider's service and professionalism. He was extremely knowledgeable about not only the Toyota models, but the competitive landscape. He was helpful without service and professionalism. He was extremely knowledgeable about not only the Toyota models, but the competitive landscape. He was helpful without any forceful or uncomfortable sales push. Being in sales myself it's apparent when someone's quota interests are above the customer's ultimate satisfaction and avoiding this experience was a pleasure. It was a no nonsense and fair deal that has left us happy Highlander owners. I would highly recommend Haider. More

I highly recommend this dealership and look forward to doing business with them again. I had a fantastic experience recently at Herb Chambers, Brighton Avenue, Boston, MA. Clyde Chormovas and Howie Res doing business with them again. I had a fantastic experience recently at Herb Chambers, Brighton Avenue, Boston, MA. Clyde Chormovas and Howie Reske were respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful and they were not pushy like some sales people I know. I traded my 2009 RAV4 for a 2013 RAV4 and drove it home the same day!! Just beautiful!!! Thank you both for a smooth experience! More
Two separate issues with Toyota Service at Herb Chambers in Boston have caused me four trips. The first trip, we had some play in the wheel when braking at highway speed, we went in and had the rotors servi in Boston have caused me four trips. The first trip, we had some play in the wheel when braking at highway speed, we went in and had the rotors serviced, but the issue continued. So we had our rotors replaced. Not a big deal, it's an expensive job so we brushed it off (no discount for our second visit). The next visit is what really bugs me, we had two lights out in our center console dash. When we could finally see the dash at night and paying $140!!! (Yes, $140 for a couple light bulbs) only one light was fixed. How many Herb Chambers employees does it take to change a light bulb? Apparently more than one. More
Howie, Cathy and Patrick were patient and honest. They helped me find the perfect fit for my needs and budget. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else. helped me find the perfect fit for my needs and budget. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else. More

By the time my wife and I had decided somewhat last-minute to lease a car at this year's end instead of some time next year, I'd already done a fair amount of research and test driving, so I was r last-minute to lease a car at this year's end instead of some time next year, I'd already done a fair amount of research and test driving, so I was ready to talk numbers. I had already narrowed my finalists down to two totally different cars and thus two dealerships, and I was more or less ready to make a decision when the time came. At first, I was mainly just concerned with the best deal, as I had already decided I liked both dealerships (not sure I could have ever said that in the past). Being that my wife and I had upped our timetable dramatically, I wanted to keep the down payment fairly low, as well as the monthly, so that dictated a lease in our case. While the other salesman brand’s dealership was super-quick to respond and gave me all the information I needed to decide on that particular car fairly early in my work day, with minimal contact by email and phone (I almost just went for it, it was such a good deal for a car I like a lot), I waited to see what Justin Boivin pull off on the advertised Prius c2 lease by the end of the day (preferring the Prius c3, but <$200 payments beat touchscreen and navigation right now). Though Justin was tied up while the other dealership was close to closing a deal with me, he was able in the afternoon to work out a very similar deal financially, and he worked with me lot by email and even text and quick phone calls to help me get stuff pushed through during my work day. I can't really say Justin and Toyota were *better* than the other dealer. My experience with them has been excellent so far, and they sell cars I like, so it’s likely I won’t be a Toyota-only driver going forward. Meantime, I certainly don’t have buyer’s (leaser’s) remorse over the Prius c. Despite my not getting to the dealership until just about 8:30 after work, he stayed late to finish up all the paperwork and get us to the business manager to finish signing the contracts (who was himself pretty easy to deal with, despite having to pitch us a surprising array of expensive added options, which he did as quickly, clearly, and smoothly as he could, and without any pressure whatsoever). We never felt rushed, and even managed to eat a little bit of a hastily-gathered dinner at his desk while we finished up the work. I had to come back the next day for the car because, being in Allston and all, they didn't have the car we had chosen (blue streak exterior) on site, and the other site was long closed, but Justin was on top of things even after the transaction. I got plenty of back-and-forth contact with him on insurance throughout the day, as we coaxed USAA into issuing an RMV-1 form so that I could drive the car off the lot that evening. Before I drove it away, we spent some time going over the car, even though, again, it was fairly late after I got off work. As I had since the first test drive, I felt like I was talking to a real human, not a desperate sales robot. Like, it's almost a liability to be this relaxed and conversational, because at some point you have to stop chatting and go pick up your wife from work, but this is a far better problem to have than, say, a salesman trying to sell you the car that he is trying to sell and not listening to you and helping to pave the way for you to buy the car you want to buy. I don't know how many other salespeople would do something like this, either, but, despite the sale being over and car being driven off the lot, he still helped to make sure our parking permit was scraped off the old Camry's window so we could return it to the city, and he even saw a book I'd accidentally left in back and brought it in to the dealership so I could pick it up on my next day off. I'm not sure whether we'll buy the Prius c at the end of the lease, or buy or lease something else, but we will definitely check in on Justin (wherever he is, if we can find him still), and see what we can get into that we might want. I'm not in love with pretty much the rest of Toyota’s (or Scion’s) current fleet, but things change and it's worth keeping an open mind for a good buyer's experience and a good ownership experience.
