I am a bit newer to the car buying process, so some of the financing was higher than expected, and I would have preferred to be told the totals up front rather than towards the end of the process; however, Kathie and the rest of the staff at Herb Chambers in Boston are very helpful, professional, and expedient in their work. She really showed great customer service in her effort to get us the paperwork quickly, hunt down a car that was not in their lot, and call to check in with me throughout the process. I would highly recommend her as someone who is not too pushy, but also who cares about getting you in the car you want. More
service on a sienna bought at this dealership Bought a new Toyota 2013 SiennaXLE AWD Unbeknownst to me at the time, the Sienna historically has premature tire tread wear problems. At 35k the Bought a new Toyota 2013 SiennaXLE AWD Unbeknownst to me at the time, the Sienna historically has premature tire tread wear problems. At 35k the manufaturers supplied Bridgestones Turanza EL400 tires with T rating need replacement. Bridgestone will not warranty the tire, only warranty that tire if you buy it as a replacement tire, apparently Bridgestone musty be aware of longstanding problems of premature tire wear on tires placed on sienna vans......If you buy these tires as replacements, Bridgestone warranties them to 5 years or 80k miles. Toyota will not warranty the tires....... Dealer failed to warn me that the tires that they sold me have absolutely no warranty when you buy them new from a Toyota dealer on your toyota car, no matter when they prematurely wear, at 5 or 50k miles... Dealership absolutley no help when I ask them for help with this issue. Service department deserves the reputation that the carry, Will never buy here again. Be warned..... More

I call it pleasure because I met there great people and professionals. They made the whole process so simple and smooth! I was just passing by and walked in even without making an appointment. In spite of it Sales Manager Harry Maragiannis did his best to find a salesperson for me. He was available during whole process when we needed his help and helped us a lot. Also I would recommend Kathie Smith as a great sales person to the future buyers. She was very patient (my husband and me couldn’t decide what car to prefer, it was a few good ones) and spend a lot of her time to help us to make our decision. Disappointing Customer service- waited 6 hrs in showroom August 27, 2014 - Given the size of the dealership and numbers of years in the business, my expectation was that. customer service would be top priori August 27, 2014 - Given the size of the dealership and numbers of years in the business, my expectation was that. customer service would be top priority. Instead we were told that the car we had made an appointment to purchase at 10:30 had just been sold to a showroom walk-in customer. We had done our homework in advance and had come prepared to hand over a our check for the 2012 Prius V. Another salesman Joshua, on noticing our distress and disappointment, offered to help. He spoke to the sales manager and eventually returned to say that the deal in process had fallen through, and that we could now buy the car. We spent the next several hours waiting for the Finance manager to speak to us. We made several attempts to speak with him but his response was always that he was very busy, that he was there to turn deals, and that we would have to wait in line. By 1:30 we were hungry and wanted to go to lunch. We tried to set a time certain to talk to the Finance manager , but he said that he could not give us a specific appointment, that we could certainly leave to go to lunch, but that we would have to once again get in line when we returned. He eventually spoke to us in the late afternoon. I can't help but wonder if it was my perfect credit score, he eventually ran, that made him re-consider us as likely prospects, worthy of his time. We picked the car up on Thursday, and the drama continued on Friday with the car registration process. Even though the dealership had promised to do the registration for us, we found it necessary to make numerous phone calls to make it happen. At one point, Kim in the office told me she didn't know where Joshua's fax machine was or what his fax number was and that I should call the insurance company and have them re-send the insurance certification to her fax machine. My brother-in-law and I spent the rest of the day micro-managing communications between the office personnel and our insurance company. Thanks to Joshua, we did eventually receive the registration on Saturday. Our thanks to Joshua, but needless to say, we will not be recommending Herb Chambers to our friends. We spend a total three days trying to finalize the deal we were ready to sign that first day. More

I worked first via phone/email with Ian Loebis, then at the dealership Randy Fisher took great care of us. Randy is the rare salesman who is genuine and knowledgeable. After we all shook hands on the deal (and a great deal it was) there was no pressure to buy extras, although I did get a warranty. I am comfortable giving this dealership high marks, and it was worth the 3 hour round trip. No, I did not know anyone there personally and they didn't pay me to write this :) More

We previously leased a 2011 Camry Hybrid from the same dealership and had a good experience, which motivated us to return for our 2014 car. These folks do not respond to messages sent from their own website. I tried twice. Finally I picked up the phone and called. I ended up speaking with Patty Quick, who was really super. She was courteous and professional. We quickly agreed on a very fair price. Following this, Patty passed me to a manager, and that's when things started to fall apart. He is from the old school of fast-talking car salesmen. He got me so exasperated that I was ready to walk away. Fortunately, he passed me to Tony Liang, who saved the day. In addition to being a gentleman, what impressed me so much about Tony is how well he took care of us. To give an example: He knew I was concerned about how many miles were already on our new Camry, so he sent me a photo of the odometer. He took care of all the little details and answered all my questions. He was always a pleasure to deal with, and the way he spoke with me inspired confidence. And he came in on his day off when we picked up our car! I also want to praise Patrick in the Finance office, who explained all the numbers to me and answered all my questions. His friendly way of explaining the calculations helped me to feel confident about the transaction. Leasing a vehicle is a complicated business. I need to feel confident in the people I'm dealing with, and these folks gave me that confidence. More
