Terrible Service & Returns Process I had the worst experience at this dealership and I will never go back or recommend anyone there....EVER. The sales-people I dealt with were all out f I had the worst experience at this dealership and I will never go back or recommend anyone there....EVER. The sales-people I dealt with were all out for their own best interests. A few old timers (not gonna state names) have the worst attitudes in the industry. They collectively overcharged me heavily for a used 2011 Toyota Prius with 80K miles on it thast recently had some issues. They swindled me into an 11% interest rate on a 5 year loan and all said and done it was going to cost me a whopping $24K. They overlooked the fact that my credit score is at a high-point of 702 and then screwed me on the APR. They didn't even bother to tell me that the carfax showed 6 previous owners in 4 years. My intuition told me there was definitely something wrong with the vehicle and they were stoked to get me approved for it through Toyota Finance Corp. They even gave me a dirty vehicle with missing parts and said they would not even send it through their detail/wash service or assist me with sourcing the parts that were missing even though I gave them a $1300 deposit and was about to fork out over 20 G's. Furthermore, they failed to process my $500 deposit the following day when I returned the vehicle and they forgot to hand over the title to the car I had traded in. I ended up going to Watertown Toyota instead where Elkin hooked me up with a brand spankin new Toyota Prius III with 5 miles on it for only $70 more per month and no interest for 5 years. "Wow" is all I can say! The vultures at Boston's Herb Chambers will try to get you approved for anything and could care less what you can really afford or what your employment situation is. Mick should have tried to talk me into a brand new Prius instead of praying I would take the older/abused/dirty one...and he should have offered me the 0% interest rate that Watertown Toyota offered to me which happened to be the same exact lender. My GOD WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!?! I cannot believe they tried to pull the wool over my eyes like that. A few of them gave me nothing but attitude throughout the entire return process. Harry stated that he wished he had never helped me to begin with and Bob snapped at me while walking out the door stating in an obtrusive snobby tone, "I NEVER HAD YOUR KEYS...WHAT ARE YOU TAKING ABOUT?!". In closing, my entire experience with their sales crew was terrible and I hope you will go see Elkin P at Watertown Toyota instead if you intend to take one for a test drive and possibly purchase a vehicle from this manufacturer. Toyota of Watertown will bend over backwards to ensure you are well taken care of and keep you and your circle of peeps coming back time and time again with no hassles at all. Thanks to Watertown Toyota...I just saved myself a world of hurt financially because they helped me get out of a used high-mileage vehicle and into a brand new one for a little more money. I could not be happier!!! More

Pleasant visit to the service department We were extremely pleased with our first service department visit at this location. Rich Ellison, the Assistant Service Manager, was very knowledgeabl We were extremely pleased with our first service department visit at this location. Rich Ellison, the Assistant Service Manager, was very knowledgeable and personable about the service our beloved Camry needed for its 18 month maintenance appointment. We appreciated that he gave us paperwork about the ToyotaCare Plus Plan for after our maintenance plan runs out. He even sat in the car and showed us how to use some of the fancy features that we didn't know how to use. We also appreciated that he gave us the needed free car wash coupon after winter at the Allston Car Wash, winner of many "Best of Boston" awards. Our car felt special! :) Rich made a point of coming downstairs to get us after our service appointment was completed. It was nice to have a business cubical to wait in so that we could get some work done while our car was being serviced. It was impressive how clean and elegant the bathroom was. The toilets were shiny clean! Yes, customers notice these things! From beginning to end, our visit was pleasant and memorable in the best possible way. Rich Ellison's service was so outstanding and easy for the customer that the next time we buy a car, we will definitely buy one from this dealership. Rich deserves a raise and a trip to Hawaii. Please give him both! More
