Great for young buyer I came in nervous with a limited budget and very little knowledge of the car-buying process. I was lucky enough to have the assistance of Rob, who was new at the dealership, but was very patient and easygoing in helping me pick out a used Corolla in my price range. Even though he'd only been there (I believe he said) a couple weeks, he had a good understanding of the vehicles and didn't try to pressure me into anything I didn't want. He was really good about making sure what I worried were "dumb" questions were answered simply and thoroughly. Some of the more veteran salesmen checked in with him throughout the process in case he needed anything but weren't overbearing and gave him space do his own thing, which I really respected and appreciated. It was a very professionally run operation overall. There was a bit of a wait for some of the paperwork (to be completely expected, since I went in on a Saturday) but Rob was great to converse with while waiting. He was very communicative and easy to reach also throughout the weekend as I finalized the registration and insurance process. He even reached out a little while after I got home with my car to ask how the ride home was! Rob was totally awesome and I'd 100 percent recommend him to anyone, but especially if you're young and new to the car purchasing process, since he's really easy to relate to and incredibly patient, and makes the process a whole lot less nerve-wracking! Overcharging xxxxxxxx I have a 2015 Rav4 bought it back in December 2015 with 11 miles. It now has approximately 6K on it. My "check engine" light came on and before bringing it here, I checked my gas cap because usually with brand new cars that is the issue. My gas cap was fine and I re-tightened it. Light was still on. I bring it in, explaining my story to them and they tell me that it was the gas cap that it was not tightened. They charged me $129.00 for just tightening my cap and resetting the sensor. She was kind enough to give me a discount but I should not have to pay for something that can be easily done. I called Ira and they told me if I brought it to them it would have been free because their was no damage to the cap and it is uncalled for to charge someone so much money for a simple thing. I will not bring my car here again. Might just charge me $500 for an oil change that is not needed. More

When I decided I wanted a 2016 Prius, I contacted Haider and asked him to notify me when they were available. We went in to meet with him and bought the car that day. I have always hated the car buying process but not any more thanks to this gentleman and dealing with Herb Chambers dealerships (I previously owned a Smart car that I also purchased from Herb Chambers). There is no question that we are now loyal Herb Chambers customers. More

It was the 2nd dealership I had gone to, but the first one to let me actually DRIVE the car (and this is in downtown Boston)! Miklos was excellent and really helped me find all the features in the car and make sure it was the right car for me. Overall, they helped me get the right deal and made everything very simple! More
EASY scion iM purchase experience TL;DR - super friendly, didn't pressure for sales, and were overall just great people. -//- Was shopping around for a hatchback and settled on a TL;DR - super friendly, didn't pressure for sales, and were overall just great people. -//- Was shopping around for a hatchback and settled on a Scion iM hatchback because (1) it's a toyota/reliable (2) the dealer financing and rebate made this last year model a great value for me and the wife. I worked with Taso Pesirides, who was super awesome and got me the exact color/make that I wanted, and even gave me a few foodie tips for good joints to eat at now that I have a car to hit them up! Dwayne in finance was also awesome, because the two of them would explain my options, but never pressure me/upsold me on stuff like simoniz or the paint warranty etc. Came in with logical reasons for my purchase price, and were more than happy to work with me to make a deal. Overall, they were super helpful, and let's be frank: when you treat people like people, good things always happen! More

Including one in Lynn that I purchased my last two trucks from and who offered no deal and withheld Toyota rebate information from me. I decided to give Herb Chambers a try and I'm glad I did. They offered me a great deal, They were very professional and it was a non-pressured, pleasant experience. I dealt mostly with Howie Reske, General Manager, and Haider Amin, my sales consultant, both consummate gentlemen. More

Based on prior experience with new cars I have purchased at other dealerships over the years, as a woman, I was dreading dealing with another pushy, aggressive car salesman. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I want to express my thanks and appreciation for my wonderful salesman Clyde Chornovas. I felt comfortable with him immediately. He was friendly, kind, respectful, calm, knowledgeable, attentive, and very easy to talk to. There was no pressure, he listened to what I had to say and patiently answered all my numerous questions. We went for a test drive, and I bought the Avalon the same afternoon. This is the first time a car buying experience was actually enjoyable and I was amazed. Pat Allosso was also lovely to work with in finalizing all the paperwork. Clyde informed the next day that the Registration was ready and to come have the car inspected. The customer service on the Inspection floor was great, and they offered beverages and snacks while waiting. I was also impressed that as I entered the elevator to go down to the first floor to pick up the Registration, the gentleman in the elevator, Anthony Taverna, offered to help me and he went and retrieved the Registration for me. I am extremely impressed with this dealership and the wonderful customer service. Highly Recommended! More
