Herb Chambers has the most impressive service area I have ever seen. That being said, I was confused that the service representative named Ashley Shannon who processed my car for its 36K service kept asking ever seen. Now if the place was real busy I would say, cut Ashley some slack but there was only one other person in the Service Waiting Area at 10:00 AM and she was of a another gender. I called before I arrived to pick-up my G37X and once again she did not remember who I was and then handed me the keys to another persons Infiniti. She said she was tied and I let it slide, but it was very strange situation. She actually was a nice person, but a little mixed up. The dealership gave me a Enterprise Rental Car which I thought was great seeing where I originally was just going to get my oil changed, but elected to get my 36K service at 26K (All the Infiniti loaner cars were already out with other customers). I had to wait for 20-minutes to get picked up by Enterprise Rental and it took 30-minutes to process the rental contract, but hey getting a loaner car is still a great deal. The price was higher than I was originally quoted and the cashier told me, "Well that's the price it says on the paper" and I reviewed it and it seemed labor was added to the standard service and that drove up the price (I guess). In the end it was 6:30 PM and I needed to get to another appointment so I paid the bill. The work the dealership performed was well done and the car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. I normally have a better service check-in experience at Herb Chambers Infiniti and today was just an off day for the staff. The main thing is the car was brought in for service work and that was performed properly. Overall I would recommend the service at the dealership. After DealerRater Post: I was called by the GM of Herb Chambers Infiniti of Westborough named, Pranav Gill. He was very apologetic about the issues with my visit. He informed me that he had corrected the double billing on my Mass Inspection Sticker and provided me with a discount for the service cost. I informed him that I had positive experiences most of the time and that this particular visit was a little less than I had come to expect from his dealership. I thought he should be aware of the issues, so they could make corrections. Obviously, Pranav Gill and Herb Chambers cares about their reputation and the level of service provided. A sign of a well managed dealership. I did edit my ratings to a higher value as a result of the corrective actions taken to correct the issues. More
The Service Center has a great drop off area where you pull right inside to get the service manager to write up the service. It was raining heavily so that was a great feature. The waiting area has WIFI and is very comfortable. The staff seemed over worked and could have used a couple more people. I was able to use a coupon from another dealership and Infiniti of Westborough matched the pricing. They left a Kit Kat bar in the cup holder along with my keys. Nice touch and my kids loved the candy! More
Terry has listened to any problem that I have had with my M35X. He took a personal interest to make sure any situation that troubled me was followed through. I had an oil leak on my garage floor. My floor mat was not tied down to the post and it slipped and pressed on the gas pedal. He researched this problem and I found out that on the mat (not clearly printed) You are not to put the mat over the original cover but to take off the original mat during the winter months. His research and advise to me was very valuable to save me the sudden accelation. I now make sure the post is secure. There is not a single service problem that goes unnoticed by Terry. I now have over 15000 miltes on my Infinity and am looking forward to have many more with the help of Terry More
I recently went into Herb Chambers Infiniti of Westboro and found the experience to be good overall. I was provided with a time to bring in the car and only had to wait a few minutes for the service.
