He has amazing patience and was a wonderful instructor to me. I left Herb Chambers Infiniti dealership of Westborough, MA extremely confident about everything I needed to know about my new car --- Anthony Carlino did that! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a recent widow (and grandmother). I had never bought a car. My husband always bought cars for me, the last being a 2008 G35x Infiniti. You hear all these horror stories about car dealers -- Anthony is the total opposite of that concept; he is friendly, trustworthy and professional. He made me feel completely comfortable with my new car. Herb Chambers Infiniti and Anthony went out of their way. They delivered the car to me in CT. My insurance co. caused a problem (it was really the DMV of CT that were unreasonable) and Anthony had to return to CT to switch cars with me to make sure I was safe. A few days later, he delivered my car to me again. Is that service above and beyond or what !!?? I was so pleased with Anthony that I told him I would see him the next time I bought a car. My wife and I were in the early stages of looking for a car and I just happened to send an email requesting a quote for a new Infiniti FX35. I as a lot of people do have preconceived notions of what a car salesman will be but Anthony Carlino could not have further from that stereotype. There was no high pressure sales tactics, he couldn't have more friendly. He walked us throughout the entire dealership giving us the grand tour which was a nice touch. We never really intended on walking out with a new car but the way we were treated by Anthony went a long way to sealing the deal and the two of us drove home in our new car. I would add that when I did research for the EX last year I spoke to someone at pretty much every Infiniti dealer in the NH, MA, RI and CT. Anthony was the most helpful, friendly and fair by a long shot. It's probably also worth adding that he was very respectful to me as a female shopper. He covered every aspect what Herb Chambers Infiniti had to offer and took the time to meet all of our expectations. We had been looking at Mercedes Benz Certified Pre-owned even vistited Herb Hhambers Mercedes Benz of Natick where we had just test driven a nice E350 4 Matic that had a bit more milage than we were looking for but super clean and was proced right. Anthony provided us an option that was also prioed right but also had really low miles. The vehicle had not yet been through CPO certification and needed a few things for us to change our mind. We wanted some time to think it over and Anthony provided a great option for us to secure car until it had completed CPO certification and if we were not happy with the car when completed then the deposit could be transfered to secure the Benz at the other Herb Chambers dealer. We were very impressed with the flexability and passsion that we saw in Anthony and others at the dealership. We expect that we will be back for another vehicle down the road. We needed to add a third vehicle and began looking in the spring. We identified several cars after doing considerable research. The FX 35 was at the top of the list from the beginning. Our initial contact was with Andrew Wheeler who is the internet manager. Over the next six months we had several conversations as we got closer to making a decision. Andrew was consistantly professional, friendly, and supportive. He was never pushy. The dealership had the color and options that we decided that we wanted and we got close to the price that we could afford in our last phone converstion with Andrew and another manager Jess. The next day I drove up unaanounced from my home in Connecticut. Andrew and Jess were not there that morning so I was helped by Anthony Carlino. Anthony was tremendous. Not only was he knowledgeable but he was clearly passionate about helping his customers find the right car at a price that they can afford. He was able to read all the notes that Andrew kept of all our conversations so he knew exactly where we were in our decision process. From that point he explained and more importantly listened. Then he went to work to help us get the car that we wanted. He was more of advocate than a salesman. He shepharded the whole process and anxiously made sure that all the details were executed flawlessly. Finally my car was delivered to me in Connecticut my Joe Brownstein, the customer service manager. He was another true professional and genuinely kind and sincere gentleman. He delivered the car and made sure I got the car registered without a hitch at the dreaded DMV.
