Poor communication. I told them I was waiting when appointment was made. They had me listed as dropping off. Took our car in on June 17th to have a serious engine problem diagnosed. It took a month to get that appointment. Was told I'd have to leave it for 2 days. I asked them to call me the next day, they problem diagnosed. It took a month to get that appointment. Was told I'd have to leave it for 2 days. I asked them to call me the next day, they never did. Spoke to the service manager who said I'd receive a call the following day. That call never came. I called on Friday the 24th to find they had not even looked at the car. So I told the service manager Jim I'd be in the next day to pick it up. All he said was, "I'll get your paperwork ready", never an apology or concern for the issue. When I picked up the car the cashier said I had no balance and I said, that's because they never looked at my car for 10 days to which another service manager replied, "we've had some cars for over a month". We were very disheartened by the lack of service and disregard for our safety as the issue we brought it in for is very concerning. More

I booked a Sat. Oil change and waited, as I didn’t want to inconvenience my Wife. On arrival I was warned that the wait could be long, but I walked next door to Dun Oil change and waited, as I didn’t want to inconvenience my Wife. On arrival I was warned that the wait could be long, but I walked next door to Dunkin’s. Had breakfast. Watched a few videos and was done in about 90 minted total. Everyone was very nice. I made an inquiry at the parts desk that was challenging and the guy made every effort to find the part. All in all what I expect from a Herb Chambers run shop. More
