Took our car in on June 17th to have a serious engine problem diagnosed. It took a month to get that appointment. Was told I'd have to leave it for 2 days. I asked them to call me the next day, they problem diagnosed. It took a month to get that appointment. Was told I'd have to leave it for 2 days. I asked them to call me the next day, they never did. Spoke to the service manager who said I'd receive a call the following day. That call never came. I called on Friday the 24th to find they had not even looked at the car. So I told the service manager Jim I'd be in the next day to pick it up. All he said was, "I'll get your paperwork ready", never an apology or concern for the issue. When I picked up the car the cashier said I had no balance and I said, that's because they never looked at my car for 10 days to which another service manager replied, "we've had some cars for over a month". We were very disheartened by the lack of service and disregard for our safety as the issue we brought it in for is very concerning. More

My car was being fixed by Herb Chambers Hyundai in Auburn since June 2021. All kinds of issues have happened in that time- they’d call me up saying other things were going wrong and new repairs were needed. since June 2021. All kinds of issues have happened in that time- they’d call me up saying other things were going wrong and new repairs were needed. For example, I had a call asking if my windshield was cracked? No, it wasn’t ..hadn't been there when it was left with them. All of this ended up taking a week short of one year. Communication was awful, where one person would tell me one thing then the next had no idea about that issue/call. Well, finally got it back. Here is a lovely collage with some images of the way I received my truck yesterday. Mice living in it. Overhead lights full of mice poop and nesting material. Seats eaten, holes chewed into them. There's an actual mouse nest in my glove box, and obviously the entire car smells like must and mouse. Someone took every single personal item and just threw them in a trash bag with literal trash: checkbook, jewelry, CDs, kids items. My back windshield wiper is broken there's a new scrape/scuff over the wheel well. Someone also backed into something leaving dents on the rear end. Gas light on, a bad sticker.. I don't even know what to say. It’s basic decency lacking here. Scary someone would give a truck back to a customer like this. Stay FAR AWAY (how safe is the wiring in my truck with all this mouse activity? I hope this review prevents someone else from experiencing this nightmare) More
