In the past, I have always had a man come with me to close the deal on a car I wanted, but I know what I want, and I shouldn't have to ask for a man's help. Roberto made the experience comfortable for me. No high pressure, no leaning across the desk in a threating manner, no blocking my access to the door, no refusing to give back my credit card (I'm looking at you, Enfield). Good experience with Roberto and very pleased with the car (2010 V6 Sonata SE) Still breaking her in, so haven't let her loose yet. More

I went into this dealership expecting to have to do everything I could to not allow the manipulating car sales people to push me into buying a car I could not afford. No high pressure sales tactics. Very pleasant and respectful staff. Mike gave me a fair price for my trade, a great price on my new 2010 Elantra and a great rate (although rate is based on credit they didn't try to say we did not qualify..which I have seen done before with less ethical dealerships). If there was a down side it was the ad and the fact that they tack on a couple of thousand to the MSRP. The ad could be taken as misleading stating $5000 for trade in 0% interest etc. but you have to read the fine print where it is based on Invoice (added price) and 0% was for the Sonata. It does state it in the ad and they all (not only car dealerships)use these Marketing/Advertising strategies and it is not Mike Stan or Matt's issue. As a matter of fact Mike and Stan were up front and honest about it from moment one. I just think it would be nice if the customer didn't have to sort through all that and I'm sure Mike and the Sales team would have less bruises at the end of the day if they didn't have to explain the ad. This is not a sleazy dealership it was actually a very honest up front dealership ..my only complaint is that I wish the ad reflected that. BTW - I love my new car!! More
This was the absolute best car buying experience I've had. I was in & out within an hour & drove off with a new hyundai accent blue model. The car has been great after two weeks of driving. I had originally gone into this dealership after seeing an ad in the paper...well, this was a bait and switch....and we were treated like dirt because we had difficult credit. They literally refused to let us test drive a Tucson...instead they tried to sell us a Ford Escape with mechanical problems. If I wanted a Ford, I would have gone to a Ford dealer. We are not stupid. We were badgered...they insisted we purchased right then and there or no deal at all...well, all I can say is thank you for being so awful....you sent us right to another Hyundai Dealership and it was worth the hour drive. Bill Dube Hyundai in Wilmington knows how to treat people and earn customers...I think you guys need to take a lesson from them. Oh, and by the way, we love our new Tucson that we got at a great price and a great interest rate at the OTHER dealership ! More

The salesperson, Paul was straightforward and pleasant. The problem was with the sales manager. I brought in the Sunday ad for a new Sonata, which was listed for an unbelievable price. While the sales manager explained that some of the rebate was not available to us (recent college grad; Hyundai loyalty; veteran) he truly manipulated the numbers in a way that we thought we'd be purchasing the vehicle for $5,000 less than the true price was. We didn't catch this until giving a deposit, and meeting with the finance person to discuss payment. It was then that we realized the deceit by the sales manager. It was slimy when the sales manager came over, played stupid over the deceit, and then said that it's unfortunate because we all ready made a deal. NOT!!! We never signed a purchase contract. Much to the credit to our salesperson, Paul, he was the last to meet with us, and as we explained our understanding of the deal, he honestly said that he understood, and very quickly returned our check to us. ALSO, be very aware that Herb Chambers Hyundai tacks on a "market value appraisal" of over $1700 on every vehicle, which is an absolute farse. BEWARE OF THE SLIMY SALES TACTICS AT HERB CHAMBERS should you go there, but i'd suggest you stay away. However, if you DO go, be sure to ask for Paul; he was the only honest and decent person there that we dealt with. A note to Paul: You deserve to work in a more honest dealership. You are honest and easy to work with. I am sorry that you lost our business over the manipulation of the sales manager. More

He is excellent. He was not the problem! The problem I have is with Matt in finance. It was wrong. He tried a 5 year loan at 228 per month. I got him to 176 per month for 5 years which was fair. He thought I was stupid. He could have cost me around a few thousand dollars in interest. We cannot let people like him bring down a great country. This kind of stuff should cause alarm. If I am ever going to buy another Hyundai from Auburn I would like an apology. Herb Chambers built his great business out of integrity and concern. Unfortunately, He can't be at every store. More
I BROUGHT MY 2005 SONATA IN FOR A WATER LEAK IN THE TRUNK I WAS WAS INFORMED ME THAT THE REPAIR WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH BOB AND HE TOLD I WAS WAS INFORMED ME THAT THE REPAIR WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH BOB AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CONTATCT THE FACTORY REP FOR SOME HELP. HE CALLED BACK THAT MORNING AND INFORMED ME THE FACTORY WILL HELP WITH THE REPAIR WITH THE WATER LEAK. KEVIN WAS MY SERVICE ADVISOR AND HE TO GAVE ME A GREAT DEAL ON A TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT WHILE THE CAR WAS THERE. I THANK THOSE GUYS FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND IN GETTING ME HELP WITH THE WATER LEAK.
