I was looking for Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Auto Trans. in grey. I spoke to the representative on the phone and she said - we have a couple at our dealership. They offered me a nice price (on the phone) and invited me to their dealership. I drove 60 miles (i am serious!!) to get to their place to find out they don't have any. More over, they told me that i have to deposit some money (so that we could get it from another dealership) for a test drive on that particular model. xxx!!! Lastly when i requested them to give me some numbers, they cameup with such crazy numbers that i did not even feel like bargaining. Bottom Line: Totally DISAPPOINTED!!! More
I took a trip to Auburn, from my home in Natick -- not a quick trip -- knowing Herb Chambers Hyundai had the largest dealership and would have what I was looking for, a 2011 Elantra. I had done all my resea quick trip -- knowing Herb Chambers Hyundai had the largest dealership and would have what I was looking for, a 2011 Elantra. I had done all my research online and had chosen Hyundai for the fuel efficiency, the warranty and the value; I had not yet decided between the Elantra Touring and the sedan. I made an appointment with Frank (?) to meet on Sunday, Jan 2; upon arrival I was greeted by a woman who told me that Matt Duszak would be my salesman. What a lucky day! Matt took me out to to the lot to see both cars,chatting comfortably about my choices and the reasons for them. We took both Elantras for test drives, on nasty, pot-holed curvy roads as I had requested, then went over all the vehicle options and inventory options, including used 2010s. That's when I sprung on poor Matt the fact that my sale was not typical; my daughter in Ohio was purchasing the car for me, in absentia. The process took about 5 days of phone calls, but mostly emails, and throughout it all Matt was communicative & helpful, conveying clearly what could and could not be done -- the perfect middleman between us and the "price setters". I picked up my Elantra Limited on Jan 14th, following one of the MANY snowstorms we've suffered this winter, so it was getting it's first Storm Test. Jean Jovin, the extremely nice financial manager, and I spent a few minutes going over possible additional service purchases and signing final papers, then Matt sat with me and went over every aspect of the car's operation, the maintenance manual, set up my phone for bluetooth operation and generally made certain that I was familiar & comfortable with the vehicle. I was, I am. Even better, I am CONSTANTLY AMAZED at how this car handles this winter!! Not once have I slid, skid, fishtailed,or gotten stuck as I drive confidently past Lexus, BMW, Jeep and plow owners who have! My daughter is thrilled knowing I'm in a safe vehicle (and happy), and completely satisfied with her HB Hyundai buying experience. I was pleased from beginning to end --- with the dealership, their willingness to help & compromise, the final price, AND the car itself, but also with the personnel: Matt is a kind, personable, professional young man who will change the stereotypical "car salesman" image for any buyer; Jean Jovin is a gentleman who doesn't oversell or get pushy (unusual)while he offers additional products, and who completely explains every paper that needs signing. I would recommend the dealership, and Matt, very highly to anyone who asked me. More
All personnel I interacted from the sales team right through to the business manager were a pleasure to deal with. Meet the price I was willing to pay, had the cleaned and delivered to my home the next day. The salesman spent all the time need to fully explain the car and how all the options worked. Even though I live over an hour away, I came here because this dealership provided everything I required. Kelsey, the internet sales person was effcient and unliked every other dealer, understood my request this dealership provided everything I required. Stephan the sales manager was very fair, listened, and did not play games. Roberto the salesman was very friendly, knowledable and low keyed. Once the car was prepped, he even drove the car to our town (for the trade-in exchange), saving us a second trip. You generally see this type of service with mercedes benz. I Would definately recommend giving this dealership a shot. More
My Mazda was broken beyond reasonable cost to repair. I had been to a few dealerships that didnt treat me very well and didnt really seem interested in me or selling me a car. So in addition to having bad expereince recently, I walked in not feeling well at all having been sick, and with my father the "hard nosed negotiator"(great for me but probable less enjoyable for the salesman) who intended to pull out all the stops. Daniel Garney greeted us and was extremely friendly and patient the whole time. He was very helpful and knowledgable. We had a Hyundai from the Westboro dealership in mind that had already been sold. He found us almost the same car on his lot but with a much higher price. I testdrove it and liked it. Dan worked it out that with a discount and my trade-in the price of this Hyundai was better than the car I had been interested in! Then we worked out the financing and wraped up the whole sale that night! I expected it to take days. And with not knowing how long my Mazda would last before it gave out totaly, that made me extremely happy. He knew my name every time I walked in and even went to the trouble of helping me with some little concerns after the sale that im sure he didn't have to do, and even offered to get me some velcro for a bobble head that I had in the car wich was very thoughtful. My father was already a customer, having bought 3 cars from this dealership in the past, and will remain a customer in the future. Even my husband intends to go back in the future to buy a Hyundai from this dealership. And I was so happy that I will most definatly be back. My wife and I decided that after many years with our van and the number of repairs it again needed it was time for it to go. I have had experience with Hyundai's previous to our recent purchase and began looking at the offers and vehicles at Herb Chambers Hyundai online along with other dealers, cars and offers in the area. After speaking with some friends that have purchased a vehicle from one of the Herb Chambers dealerships I decided to stop in and see what was available. Roberto was our salesman and was every bit of professional and courteous along with patient and thorough without being pushy. I would look at and test drive a car, then change to another and another and he was knowledgeable with all of them. After nearly two weeks of my wife and I deciding what type of vehicle would suit our needs best, I stopped back in for one last round of test drives and was able to work with Roberto and others in the finance department to crunch numbers and settle on what worked for everyone. I look forward to working with Herb Chambers Hyundai throughout the ownership of our 2011 Tuscon and future purchases. More
