I went to the dealership mainly to get an idea about cost and payments for a Hyundai Sonata. He also gave me a very good trade in value for my Jeep which made the cost per month acceptable enough for me to purchase the car on the spot. I felt as though I was being helped, not pressured. More
Matt Newhouse is the finance manager that I spoke with concerning the interest% rate and payment arrangement. Marty was the salesmen working with me, working with Matt. The entire process was moving along at MY pace, not the dealership. I felt very in control and both Matt and Marty not only answered every question I had but they made everything clear and made sure I understood everything all along the sales process. Marty made sure the car was in top shape when my wife went to pick it up. There was a minor scratch on the interior that we were concerned about and he had it fixed within 1 day of us owning the car. What can I say about Matt. Smart, educated and friendly. He wanted to make sure we were happy with the car. Anything we needed Matt and Marty provided. My wife Sylvia was very happy as well. I would recommend anyone to come to Herb Chambers in Auburn. Just a great group of professional people who aren't out for your money, but to genuinely make you happy. A++. In the past, I have always had a man come with me to close the deal on a car I wanted, but I know what I want, and I shouldn't have to ask for a man's help. Roberto made the experience comfortable for me. No high pressure, no leaning across the desk in a threating manner, no blocking my access to the door, no refusing to give back my credit card (I'm looking at you, Enfield). Good experience with Roberto and very pleased with the car (2010 V6 Sonata SE) Still breaking her in, so haven't let her loose yet. More

I went into this dealership expecting to have to do everything I could to not allow the manipulating car sales people to push me into buying a car I could not afford. No high pressure sales tactics. Very pleasant and respectful staff. Mike gave me a fair price for my trade, a great price on my new 2010 Elantra and a great rate (although rate is based on credit they didn't try to say we did not qualify..which I have seen done before with less ethical dealerships). If there was a down side it was the ad and the fact that they tack on a couple of thousand to the MSRP. The ad could be taken as misleading stating $5000 for trade in 0% interest etc. but you have to read the fine print where it is based on Invoice (added price) and 0% was for the Sonata. It does state it in the ad and they all (not only car dealerships)use these Marketing/Advertising strategies and it is not Mike Stan or Matt's issue. As a matter of fact Mike and Stan were up front and honest about it from moment one. I just think it would be nice if the customer didn't have to sort through all that and I'm sure Mike and the Sales team would have less bruises at the end of the day if they didn't have to explain the ad. This is not a sleazy dealership it was actually a very honest up front dealership ..my only complaint is that I wish the ad reflected that. BTW - I love my new car!! More
This was the absolute best car buying experience I've had. I was in & out within an hour & drove off with a new hyundai accent blue model. The car has been great after two weeks of driving. I had originally gone into this dealership after seeing an ad in the paper...well, this was a bait and switch....and we were treated like dirt because we had difficult credit. They literally refused to le an ad in the paper...well, this was a bait and switch....and we were treated like dirt because we had difficult credit. They literally refused to let us test drive a Tucson...instead they tried to sell us a Ford Escape with mechanical problems. If I wanted a Ford, I would have gone to a Ford dealer. We are not stupid. We were badgered...they insisted we purchased right then and there or no deal at all...well, all I can say is thank you for being so awful....you sent us right to another Hyundai Dealership and it was worth the hour drive. Bill Dube Hyundai in Wilmington knows how to treat people and earn customers...I think you guys need to take a lesson from them. Oh, and by the way, we love our new Tucson that we got at a great price and a great interest rate at the OTHER dealership ! More
