My Mazda was broken beyond reasonable cost to repair. I had been to a few dealerships that didnt treat me very well and didnt really seem interested in me or selling me a car. So in addition to having bad expereince recently, I walked in not feeling well at all having been sick, and with my father the "hard nosed negotiator"(great for me but probable less enjoyable for the salesman) who intended to pull out all the stops. Daniel Garney greeted us and was extremely friendly and patient the whole time. He was very helpful and knowledgable. We had a Hyundai from the Westboro dealership in mind that had already been sold. He found us almost the same car on his lot but with a much higher price. I testdrove it and liked it. Dan worked it out that with a discount and my trade-in the price of this Hyundai was better than the car I had been interested in! Then we worked out the financing and wraped up the whole sale that night! I expected it to take days. And with not knowing how long my Mazda would last before it gave out totaly, that made me extremely happy. He knew my name every time I walked in and even went to the trouble of helping me with some little concerns after the sale that im sure he didn't have to do, and even offered to get me some velcro for a bobble head that I had in the car wich was very thoughtful. My father was already a customer, having bought 3 cars from this dealership in the past, and will remain a customer in the future. Even my husband intends to go back in the future to buy a Hyundai from this dealership. And I was so happy that I will most definatly be back. After speaking with some friends that have purchased a vehicle from one of the Herb Chambers dealerships I decided to stop in and see what was available. Roberto was our salesman and was every bit of professional and courteous along with patient and thorough without being pushy. I would look at and test drive a car, then change to another and another and he was knowledgeable with all of them. After nearly two weeks of my wife and I deciding what type of vehicle would suit our needs best, I stopped back in for one last round of test drives and was able to work with Roberto and others in the finance department to crunch numbers and settle on what worked for everyone. When I took my mother to Herb Chambers Hyundai I had no intentions on her buying a Hyundai based on past experience with this dealership. I have dealt with Herb Chambers Hyundai 4 times, and my mother 3 ti intentions on her buying a Hyundai based on past experience with this dealership. I have dealt with Herb Chambers Hyundai 4 times, and my mother 3 times, and most of our experiences were poor, but knowing that my mother would get the most for her trade in from Hyundai, we started our search with Herb Chambers. As we strolled in I noticed most of, if not all of the staff that were there prior had been replaced, which was good seeing how poorly they treated both my mother and I in the past. We looked at the 2010 Elantra and Accent. I would highly recommend the Elantra to people if you are looking for value and a good car. We stood firm and got the car for a great price ($12,000). The Accent I would not recommend. As far as our salesman,Daniel Garney was who we worked with throughout the sale. I have to admit in all my dealings with salesmen, Daniel came across as nice and patient as any I have ever dealt with in the past and if I had to recommend seeing anyone at Herb Chambers Hyundai, he would be the recommendation. The sale went smooth and he has taken care of all of my mothers needs without fail. The entire sales staff was actually pretty good. (My mother has not yet dealt with the service department, so that will be in another review, and hopefully it is as positive as this one.) All in all I would now recommend Herb Chambers Hyundai again to people if you are looking for a car. Go in and see Daniel Garney and give him your business, I guarantee you will walk away with the same opinion of him as my mother and I have. I gave the place all 5's due to how good Daniel treated us, the quality I feel of the work Hyundai has done remodeling the Elantra for safety and value, and for the overall satisfaction my mother has come away with from the sale. My son recently had a major problem with his vehicle. And was in need of a car, so i gave him my older vehicle and realized I would be in need of a brand new vehicle. Now this is the first brand new vehicle I have ever purchased. So i was already very very nervous and had my guard up right away. The second I walked into Herb Chambers Hyundai I was greeted by a young man by the name of Dan Garney. He was very nice, very honest and very upfront when it came time to choose the vehicle that would best suite me. I ended up going with the Elantra Touring it seemed very practical to my needs. And because of Dan, I knew thats what i needed. And when it came time to negotiate price ( usually the worst part of the whole process) I was very relieved. He did not pressure me into buying something I didn't want, and made the numbers work best for my situation. I will tell every person that I know to go see him. Looking back, I walked in with a giant chip on my shoulder about the image of car salesman and the perception of car dealerships. Dan and the Herb Chambers Company completely changed the way I view buying cars. I will 100% buy my next vehicle from him, and will tell everyone i know in the market to go see him and go to Herb Chambers. More

When I arrived, the vehicle was not in inventory, and I bought another less-desirable vehicle. I was also charged an unexpected $289 document processing fee. More
