This past Sunday, my 2021 Hyundai Tucson had a complete engine failure—completely out of nowhere—at 83,000 miles. Needless to say, I was stressed. But thankfully, Hyundai really came through. I called Hyundai’s free towing service (which you get when you buy new), and they picked up my car and brought it to the dealership. By Monday morning, I got a text and email from my service advisor, Phuoc, introducing himself and letting me know they’d be taking a look. By Tuesday, Phuoc texted me again confirming it was the engine—and not only that, but he had already gotten the approval for a brand new engine under warranty. He kept me updated every step of the way and answered all of my questions quickly and kindly. On Thursday, I got a message letting me know the new engine was arriving Friday morning—and the hope was to install it the same day. And they did! By late Friday evening, Phuoc texted me that my car was ready for pickup. I’ve always been skeptical about warranties, thinking there’s probably a loophole or fine print that would leave me stuck with a huge bill. But Hyundai stayed true to their word and replaced the engine with no hassle, no run-around, and no cost to me. The process was fast, smooth, and completely stress-free. I’m so grateful for Phuoc’s help throughout this experience—and because of this, I would absolutely buy another Hyundai. Their warranty and customer service speak for themselves. More
