Hi, I just wanted to thank Richard Murray, the service manager at Herb Chambers Honda Westborough. I had an issue with my vehicle that I had brought to a few dealers to have looked at. I kept getting th manager at Herb Chambers Honda Westborough. I had an issue with my vehicle that I had brought to a few dealers to have looked at. I kept getting the same response that everyone hates to hear when they know that there is something wrong with their vehicle "there seems to be nothing wrong with it." I knew that there was an issue. Richard listened to me and I could tell he could appreciate where I was coming from. He had one of the top technicians work on the car and the technician did a road test with me in hopes of isolating the problem. When we got back to the dealer Richard asked if he could keep the car for a few hours to go through. They dropped me off at my home and said they would contact me as soon as they knew more. About 2 hours later I got a call that the car was fixed and that someone would be on their way. I thought they would be picking me up to bring me back to the dealership. To my surprise they drove the car to me with paperwork in hand and dropped it off at the house. I was blown away. Not only was I happy about the entire experience the sound was gone from the car! They promised to get it done and they went the extra mile. I will continue doing service with Herb Chambers and I wanted to thank Richard and his team for their great services. Thank you! -Rudy- More

Them (Adam): you need new brakes, But, we don't have the parts today. Me: You don't have Honda brakes at a Honda dealership? Them: No, but I will be here working Monday and I will take care of it for you then. Me: Uh, ok, then fix it Monday. So, on Monday, I call and ask for Adam to see how its going. He's not working today. Sigh. So I start all over again and repeat the story to someone else. Good thing I called and didn't assume they were going to work on it LIKE THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO. He calls around for parts and calls me back. Them: Uh, can't get one of the parts (caliper) until Tuesday at the earliest. None of the dealers have it. Me: So, NONE of the HONDA dealers have a caliper for a HONDA? Them: No Sigh. So, I decide to call other repair places. First place I called said they had all the parts needed for a brake job on site right now. I go up there, the car is done in 3 hours. For $300 less than the price that Herb Chambers was quoting. And the best part is, one of the reasons that it was cheaper is I DIDN'T NEED THE CALIPER TO BE REPLACED AT ALL. I missed half a day's work because of their nonsense. But I did save some money. Incompetent or unethical. Don't know which, but not going back either way. More

Went all the way down there and told me the wait time is 3 hours. - Went for a wheel alignment and continued to have problems. They don't mind putting you back on the road after bad or no work. I would defintely not recommend going here, unless you want to be misled and then have sub-standard work done on your car. More
I have a 2008 Honda Civic. I always went to Bernardi before since it is closer to my house. My car has the Bernardi's service due sticker with the service due over 2 months prior but since I didn't driv before since it is closer to my house. This time I decided to go to Herb Chambers in Westborough since I found a printable coupon online. When I went to Chambers, I was told that I didn't need to change my oil. I mentioned to the man that my car service was actually due over 2 months prior, why not change the oil? I was told that the new Honda has a computer reminder and it doesn't go by the mileage/date anymore. This was the first time I learned that I didn't need to spend money unnecessarily. While by now, Bernardi had called me twice to remind me to change the oil. Sure, that made me feel so special being reminded to take care of my car but if I don't have to spend my money for something unnecessary if I don't have to. I was so impressed with the Chambers because they were so honest. I have never gone to any car dealer/service that turn me down from getting money out of me. Who would? Business is business, it's all about money. But Chambers surely has honest workers. - I don't remember the name of the employees there but he is an African man, the other one is a Caucasian man who was on the desk. They both were very friendly. - The people at the Bernardi Honda too were so friendly but the only thing that discouraging me to bring my car there because there was a mechanic who gave me a free car wash but begged for my phone number. He didn't want to close my car door until I gave my phone number. Eventually I gave out my phone number so he let me go. He did call me once but I never returned.(I didn't want to give wrong number because I thought I was going to return for service). I was friendly to him because he took care of my car but I wasn't interested in dating the man. Professionalism is important. If not, you lose a customer(s). With the Herb Chambers, for every service you can free car wash and the guy won't ask for your phone number to get to know you only because he washes your car. Thanks Herb Chambers, I will go back to your shop again from now on for every single thing that my car need. More
Recently i went to get an oil change and tire rotation the cost of the tires rotated was ridiculous. I did get it done and left there with possibly unbalanced tires. Checking over the receipt I wwas charged for items that were supposed to be covered from previous work, oh did I say requested on 3 different occasions to be fixed. STILL not right. I had to drive 50 miles a day for work and thought I was going to fly off the highway it bounced so badly. I went back for a diagnosis now I need a new tire. No one said that 3 days ago. Currently I have found this website because I am looking for another Honda so the dealer ratings is very useful. Thank you. More
Routine Service for 60,000 miles left me with 4 tires all inflated improperly, one was put on backwards, and a leaking transmission. I went back and they told me that a seal was leaking and needed replacing for $350. I complained that the car was fine before the service and they needed to take responsibility for the repair. They clamied it was just a coincidence, and offered to do it for $100. After having the car looked at by a trusted mechanic it was diagnosed that the car's transmission fluid was never drained. Fluid was forced in under pressure leaving double the amount of fluid in the car which was breacking all the seals causing leaks. Service manager was rude stating I had the problem expecting perfect service. More

I needed a spare tier cover. The part was ordered in early Feb and I have not got any calls from them until I called them in late May. They asked me to go in for the refund. I went there last night and was told I had to go back again because the manager was not in. Finally my wife went there today for the refund and she was treated badly. No more business with them! You may wonder why I didn't call them sooner. The part was ordered along with other services and I didn't even know I was charged for it until I checked the invoice carefully later. Regardless, they should call me. By the way, only 1 person apologized to me even though I have talked to many of them. More
This is the worst dealership I have visited ever. I had taken in my Honda Odyssey for service and I had to make two trips. Then I took it in yesterday since the replacement part had come in. I got a call at 4pm saying that the car was ready to pick up. The guy told me he will call me back in a minute with the exact cost of repair. I show up at the dealership an hour later, the paper work is not done, he tells me that the car i being vaccumed while it is sitting in the lot. After I asked that I get to speak to the service manager, things got rolling. There were other customers waiting there with complaints similar to mine. After all this, I find that there is a long scratch on the sliding doors that was not there when I took it in. Now I have to go back there to get this buffed. Stay away. There are better Honda dealers in the area. This place is the pits and too bad that they are associated with the name "Honda" More
