My recent experience at Herb Chambers Honda of Westboro was nothing less than delightful. I purchased a 2009 Honda CR-V, and the entire experience, from the time I walked through the door to the time I dr was nothing less than delightful. I purchased a 2009 Honda CR-V, and the entire experience, from the time I walked through the door to the time I drove away in my new vehicle, was fantastic. The staff I interacted with, particularly Beth Sielawa and Josh Mono, went above and beyond. They were professional, courteous, respectful, understanding, and down-to-earth. They both gave me their complete attention and I felt as though they really appreciated me, their customer. Since I am the most indecisive person in the world, I have trouble making decisions. Beth was infinitely patient with me, and was very accommodating while I made up my mind (I eventually went with the silver CR-V with black leather!). I did not have the typical stressful car buying experience at all, and Beth and Josh both definitely broke the "car sales-person" stereotype. The customer service was excellent, and the price was excellent as well. I love my CR-V and I am very thankful that I went to this dealership – the entire experience went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this dealership, and I specifically recommend Josh and Beth to everyone who is looking for a Honda vehicle. More
I have a 2008 Honda Civic. I always went to Bernardi before since it is closer to my house. My car has the Bernardi's service due sticker with the service due over 2 months prior but since I didn't driv before since it is closer to my house. My car has the Bernardi's service due sticker with the service due over 2 months prior but since I didn't drive as much so I didn't bring my car earlier. This time I decided to go to Herb Chambers in Westborough since I found a printable coupon online. When I went to Chambers, I was told that I didn't need to change my oil. I mentioned to the man that my car service was actually due over 2 months prior, why not change the oil? I was told that the new Honda has a computer reminder and it doesn't go by the mileage/date anymore. This was the first time I learned that I didn't need to spend money unnecessarily. While by now, Bernardi had called me twice to remind me to change the oil. Sure, that made me feel so special being reminded to take care of my car but if I don't have to spend my money for something unnecessary if I don't have to. I was so impressed with the Chambers because they were so honest. I have never gone to any car dealer/service that turn me down from getting money out of me. Who would? Business is business, it's all about money. But Chambers surely has honest workers. - I don't remember the name of the employees there but he is an African man, the other one is a Caucasian man who was on the desk. They both were very friendly. - The people at the Bernardi Honda too were so friendly but the only thing that discouraging me to bring my car there because there was a mechanic who gave me a free car wash but begged for my phone number. He didn't want to close my car door until I gave my phone number. Eventually I gave out my phone number so he let me go. He did call me once but I never returned.(I didn't want to give wrong number because I thought I was going to return for service). I was friendly to him because he took care of my car but I wasn't interested in dating the man. Professionalism is important. If not, you lose a customer(s). With the Herb Chambers, for every service you can free car wash and the guy won't ask for your phone number to get to know you only because he washes your car. Thanks Herb Chambers, I will go back to your shop again from now on for every single thing that my car need. More
I had a horrible experience. I came to look at a Fit, knowing already the price and dealer invoice and that I wouldn't get much off. I wasn't there to buy right away, which I made clear from the beginni knowing already the price and dealer invoice and that I wouldn't get much off. I wasn't there to buy right away, which I made clear from the beginning. I repeatedly said I understand that the cars that you have will not be there long. Still they had to use every high pressure sales tactic in the book. I could not get out of there! It was a nightmare, they picked on my wife, trying to pressure her to buy when it was clear that I was unperturbed by their tactics. More
I just bought a new Honda Civic from them and it was a great shopping experience. I previously used a different Honda dealership in the area, and I can tell you that the guys at Herb Chambers are much bet great shopping experience. I previously used a different Honda dealership in the area, and I can tell you that the guys at Herb Chambers are much better. Very competitive price, sales rep (Abdul Khalid) was very courteous, no sale pressure, took care of everything, good price for the trade in, car was available in inventory, delivered next day in perfect condition. I recently bought a BMW from a BMW dealer, and IMO Herb Chambers worked a lot harder to make sure that everything is going well. I will definitely go back to them in the future. More
Bought my V6 Accord (AT) there in 11/07 for $21K + TTL, $22,300 out the door. That was a good price at the time, and they had the car on the lot. I had it home in two days. The salesman was friendly and ef $22,300 out the door. That was a good price at the time, and they had the car on the lot. I had it home in two days. The salesman was friendly and efficient, and the manager was straightforward. They did make one "math error" but when I pointed it out to them they corrected it. I initially purchased an extended warranty but then changed my mind, and they deleted it no problem. More
Dealership from xxxx .. this is the worst honda dealer in the world. Pure evil. Just finished writing out the BBB complaint for my experience with them. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT enter this deal the world. Pure evil. Just finished writing out the BBB complaint for my experience with them. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT enter this dealership. These evil guys have so many tricks up their sleeves that you stand no chance. And it all starts at the top: The General Manager, Mike Kelly. So it does not matter how "nice" the lowly sales guy is and how he is treating you. This dealership is run by the GM from xxxx and if you enter this dealership, you will pay for it. As you can see, I am really mad -- and have just finished writing out my BBB complaint about this dealership and Mike Kelly. My next stop is the AG's office. More
We only gave Herb Chambers "1"s because we couldn't rate them "0". We went there to buy a Honda. They would not sell it at the price they have advertised. They have you come in to the dealer so they can swi them "0". We went there to buy a Honda. They would not sell it at the price they have advertised. They have you come in to the dealer so they can switch you to a different car. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. More
I wanted a Civic DX. The sales person told me there were none in all of Massachusetts, even though I had quotes from other dealers on the DX. The sales person then said, wait a few minutes and you can talk none in all of Massachusetts, even though I had quotes from other dealers on the DX. The sales person then said, wait a few minutes and you can talk to the manager. After waiting 15 minutes, the sales person said the manager was busy. So I walked out the door. More
Recently i went to get an oil change and tire rotation the cost of the tires rotated was ridiculous. I did get it done and left there with possibly unbalanced tires. Checking over the receipt I wwas charg the cost of the tires rotated was ridiculous. I did get it done and left there with possibly unbalanced tires. Checking over the receipt I wwas charged for items that were supposed to be covered from previous work, oh did I say requested on 3 different occasions to be fixed. STILL not right. I had to drive 50 miles a day for work and thought I was going to fly off the highway it bounced so badly. I went back for a diagnosis now I need a new tire. No one said that 3 days ago. Currently I have found this website because I am looking for another Honda so the dealer ratings is very useful. Thank you. More
Sales Rep. quoted me a price over the phone and then changed the price to a higher price when I walked in. Sales Rep. states there is no room for negotiation and the price that is listed is the price it changed the price to a higher price when I walked in. Sales Rep. states there is no room for negotiation and the price that is listed is the price it has to sell at. Although he stated that there is no room for negotiation, after awhile talking to him he was able to lower the price on his end a couple hundred dollars but that was it. There was no room for me to negotiate. The thing that turned me off the most about buying the car from Herb Chamber is a picture the Sales Rep. showed me that was in a book that the Sales Reps. usually shows customers which had a picture of an Indian G-d. The Sales Rep. (Fabricio) mentioned that Indian’s tend to lie and after showing them this picture they have to tell the truth. Although I am not Indian, this was very offensive since I have Indian friends who are the most honest people I know. This is disturbing that a company would use this type of sales pitch by using a G-d. This is unprofessional. After the Sales Rep. realized he was not going to be getting a sale from me, I was also called a liar in so many words about my trade-in being in an accident which it never was and even car fax would prove that. Yes scrapped up in spots but nothing more then a usual used car would be. I also took the time to call back and explain not to hold the car for me since I am not interested anymore and the Sales Rep. started arguing with me. I rather keep my car and when I’m ready to buy I will not stand foot in an Herb Chambers. I will share my experience with others since this was by far the worse experience I ever had and I have bought cars at other dealerships in the past. More
