He told me he would call me the same evening of my appointment to tell me whether Honda would approve the extension that would most likely be needed to complete the job. He did not call me that night. I had made arrangements to have my daughter meet me at the dealership the next day so I could drop my car off, as Mr. Meier said would be what I would need to do. I called twice the following morning, was told he was busy with other customers, and redirected to someone else in the service department who redirected my call to Tom. I left two messages on his voice mail. I realized that he most likely had no intention of helping me so I went to another dealership. He finally called me at 4pm that afternoon and said "How can I help you?" Really? He had nothing to say about the information he was supposed to have for me. I told him I was not happy with his unprofessional behavior and that I took my business elsewhere. His response, "Sorry". He gave no explanation of his lack of follow through. There at least could have been a courtesy call to tell me what the hold up was. He had no idea why I called.!!! Pathetic!! Do not deal with Thomas Meier. I don't want to judge an entire service department on the actions of one person, but Mr. Meier has a poor work ethic and no respect for his customers needs or time. My family owns three Honda Civics. This dealership has lost 3 potential customers. More
Service supervisor, Tom, humiliated my dad and I by telling us to get out of his office and the place multiple times while we were calmly telling him the rim of my car was damage while getting service telling us to get out of his office and the place multiple times while we were calmly telling him the rim of my car was damage while getting service a few days before. He lied about my car getting to the dealership with a flat tire. Showed me a picture from the surveillance video of a car that was clearly not my car. And argued a very bad shape tire was the one my car had. When I told him I had paperwork to prove that was not my tire he got furious and told my dad and me to get out of his office that we were wasting his time. Oh and he didn’t want me to speak Spanish when I was just trying to translate to my dad who doesn’t speak English. This place just want your money. But if you have a claim they treat you like garbage. More
Customer Service That Delivers! I've had my Accord in several times over the past few years. The customer service and quality of work from the entire department has been excellent. H I've had my Accord in several times over the past few years. The customer service and quality of work from the entire department has been excellent. However, I particularly want to mention that in dealing with Malainne Costa, she has been absolutely outstanding. She is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. All rare qualities today which makes them so much more valued! More

I'm A Believer - Team Herb Chambers Seekonk Sometimes you simply have to listen and act on the advice offered by professionals. General Manager Scott Birtles, Service Advisor Tim Islip, and Part Sometimes you simply have to listen and act on the advice offered by professionals. General Manager Scott Birtles, Service Advisor Tim Islip, and Parts Manager Dave Kiolbasa offered me a thoughtful recommendation on a particular tire I should consider installing on my 2005 Honda Element. I initially had doubts, but decided to take the leap of faith. Why not. Herb Chambers Seekonk has always been a a trusting friend. They installed the four new tires and yes, they were SPOT ON! My Element feels and drives exactly as I had hoped. Thank you Team Herb Chambers Seekonk for always being there for me! I'm a believer all over again! Rob Giovino More

A very nice man assisted me a found me a USB port for me charge my battery. Once my car was all set, my service person attempted to help me with my difficulty connecting my cell to my car via Android Auo...she was unusable, but took the time to find someone who could. Kamiyah Flakes then came over and quickly figured out that my problem was the cord I was using! Easy! Thank you to all More

I bought a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta priced at about $11,000 with only 10210 miles on the clock back in February of 2017. My idea? To buy a new car that would last so I wouldn’t have to deal with the whole used car, “you buy someone else’s problem” issue. Unfortunately I have been juggling between three different dealerships - two of which are Volkswagen for their certified technicians and then Honda of Seekonk themselves - for the same recurring issue: spark plug damage and replaced coil packs and ignition coils. Now, I am no mechanic, but I have owned this vehicle for about 2.5 years and drove it about 42k miles. Within the mileage of 43k miles and where I am now (53k miles), I have had to replace the spark plugs 3 separate times now. At one point, when calling my dealership- Herb Chambers of Seekonk of Honda - I had a mechanic laugh and ask why I am calling them to fix a Volkswagen car... spark plugs and coil packs are generally the same, at least I thought. Also, shouldn’t spark plugs last longer than 50,000 miles? At least 5,000 miles? There has to be an underlying issue. This time, my CEL was flashing and my engine shook so violently that I had to pull over… in Lincoln, NH 150 miles out from home. Herb Chambers of Seekonk suggested I get a tow and they will cover the cost… if it is a mechanical issue. What was the problem? The spark plugs again. When will the obvious underlying issue be discovered and solved? There is no way the spark plugs are just magically breaking on their own every 3k-5k miles. Now, I am down $600, I am being denied that tow coverage, and after all these useless spark plug changes and coil pack replacements, I am still left with a half-repaired vehicle waiting to break down again because it “needs new spark plugs”. When purchasing the vehicle, I opted for the extended warranty to avoid these specific problems. Clearly, there must be another problem rather than just the spark plugs. Now I own a fairly new vehicle with only 53k miles on it and cannot trust the vehicle to drive even 30 miles. I cannot and will not recommend buying a vehicle especially used from them. They will band-aid issues instead of properly fixing them. More
