Ken was courteous , friendly, and quick. Great experience I had purchased wiper blade inserts earlier in the day. When I got home I had questions and called. Always A-1 service at this dealership! Today I had the pleasure of being served by a young fellow named Joel, who I had not met before. He explained everything that was recommended for my vehicle mainten pleasure of being served by a young fellow named Joel, who I had not met before. He explained everything that was recommended for my vehicle maintenance and did not try to talk me into anything I couldn't afford right now. He even entered in a coupon for the oil change as a nice surprise. He had the winter wipers brought over right away from another place and everythng, time-wise, took just the amount of time he said it would, almost to the minute. We often get our auto care done in CT (which we have not been impressed with). So when we were in Rhode Island visiting family we decided to get an oil change and tire rotation. We stopped at Honda Seekonk been impressed with). So when we were in Rhode Island visiting family we decided to get an oil change and tire rotation. We stopped at Honda Seekonk to get this done. The service advisor was very professional and friendly. We decided that we would come back to get the tires replaced as well. Thanks for the outstanding service Ken. Unexpected damage to my rear wheel during a visit to Providence area. Seekonk Honda people took me very quickly even without an appointment, and were able to ensure that I could drive my Honda Fit home Providence area. I brought my car in for a tune up and to review the seat relase latch in the trunk. I was greated by Tim Islip in Service and the level of professionalism and customer service was simply excellent. We had a bad experience with the front desk. We were given an estimate of $1570 and then charged $1855 when we arrived. It was apparently an error and the amount was reduced when we complained but it s given an estimate of $1570 and then charged $1855 when we arrived. I WENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY OIL GASKET WAS LEAKING PROFUSELY...COST $400....I REFUSED TO FIX. I WAS TOLD IF I DID NOTHING THE OIL CHANGE WOULD PROBABLY LEAK OUT OF MY CAR AND BLOW MY MOTOR WAS LEAKING PROFUSELY...COST $400....I REFUSED TO FIX. I WAS TOLD IF I DID NOTHING THE OIL CHANGE WOULD PROBABLY LEAK OUT OF MY CAR AND BLOW MY MOTOR. THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO SEE UNDER MY CAR AFTER THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONE, I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR, NOTHING WAS LEAKING. I WAS SO SCARED TO DRIVE THE CAR HOME FEARING I WOULD BLOW MY MOTOR. I WENT STRAIGHT TO MY MECHANIC TO HAVE MY CAR INSPECTED. HE COULD NOT FIND A LEAK...NOT EVEN A DRIP. WHAT A SICK FEELING I HAD....SCAM ARTISTS AT THEIR BEST...CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY STATED THE 3 MECHANICS FOUND THE LEAK, BUT NOT ONE OF THEM SHOWED ME WHERE...SEEMS COMMON PRACTICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP.....BEWARE!!!! We have an Accord and an Odyssey in my family, and both are now brought to Herb Chambers Seekonk. This is a wonderful dealership, Both cars are 2002. Starting with the Odyssey, when it was 2 years old t are now brought to Herb Chambers Seekonk. This is a wonderful dealership, Both cars are 2002. Starting with the Odyssey, when it was 2 years old the rear A/C was no longer cold, we went to 9 different dealers, many are well rated and also the one it was bought from, however it took 3 weeks at Herb Chambers, but they finally got it right, Every time we go there we are warmly greeted and the car gets a full walk around so we are aware of its current condition. A recent service with the Accord went well for the most part. The engine was misfiring so I drove down and told them what I wanted, twenty minutes of waiting a rep came over and said I need more work done than anticipated, I agreed, but because of the unexpected work the total bill came out with a 15% discount. However the reason I put their quality of work low is a recent experience with the Accord here. After checking the engine bay at home after the service there was a large marker left on the front quarter panel right under where the hood mounts are, and there was also a bolt missing from an engine piece. I am in shock about this. I would like to add another piece of information, while having our Odyssey serviced, every time we have been given a Ford Taurus, to me it makes no sense how that is equivalent to a Mini-Van, never mind a Honda, and I would love to see Herb Chambers step it up and use Honda loaners. They are such great vehicles plus its a great way for people to see new features. More
