I called the dealership because I was shopping for the best price on a used Hyundai and found a car at HC which was 1K less than at another dealership. The car was as advertized but unfortunately came with run-flat tires which I will never own on a car (the replacement cost is much too high). I asked to test drive a manual transmission Civic if one was available, and also drove an automatic version of the Civic. I chose the manual version. I liked the experience because it was a no-pressure environment, including the financing part. I didn't feel like I was being pressured to buy anything that I didn't want. I asked for a set of new hubcaps to go with the car and they were installed at no charge. I appreciated the way I was treated. There was a mixup on delivery, but Krista offered to come and pick me up (40 minutes each way) to make it right. I declined the offer but I do appreciate that she owned the issue and was willing to make it right for me. More

The Honda dealer in warwick RI, I walked in looked at cars and asked for help and no one bothered to help. This dealership I was greeted at the door EVERY time I arrived and someone was quick to help... make s a difference that is for sure. More

Our salesman was really personable and made me feel comfortable. If you are planing to shop here, I would strongly recommend talking to Jeff. Their vehicles have "smart pricing" which puts the price of the car slightly below the Kelly Blue Book value. Their price is firm and they refuse to negotiate. Honestly, I liked not having to talk price, but this might have more to do with my own timidness and my dislike of working with sales people (two traits that don't work well in a negotiation) rather than a ringing endorsement of their pricing. After I made the purchase, I researched the certified vehicles of the same make and model with the similar mileage and definitely found better deals in the area. But after I committed to the car, my experience soured. I found this dealership to have a serious disinterest and even a serious disrespect for my time. After putting down my initial deposit on the vehicle around two weeks ago (and signing all of the papers and fully paying $17,000 for the car a week ago), I still don't have my new car. The dealership is struggling to process an out-of-state registered trade-in (worth $830), a process that I would think should be straight forward enough. I have had to come into the dealership 5 different times. Each time I need to sign something they forgot to give me, I have to provide a new piece of documentation that they forgot to ask for, or pay very small payment difference for errors in their payment calculations (today it was $60.00!). Each time I go in it takes much more time than I originally thought. Figuring out the $60.00 payment today took well over an hour, and while I was able to watch Jeopardy the whole time, that's not what I wanted to do on a Tuesday night. Admittedly this transaction might be more complicated than most, and they are now making attempts to speed up the process (the salesman is driving to my office tomorrow to have me sign some papers), but still I feel like if Herb Chambers had better communication internally and were more interested in getting the details of the sale figured out rather than being "New England's Largest Volume Dealer", I would be able to write a more favorable review, which is ideally I want to do right now. I haven't even mentioned the large number of scratches that they haven't yet taken care of even though they said they would at purchase (like I said, I put a deposit down over 10 days ago). I am very close to taking Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk up on their "5 day money back guarantee" and go to a different dealership. Things shouldn't be this hard. More

Chris was always accessable when I called or got back to me in a timely manner, and followed through with any items he said he would take care of. Strove to make the process quick and always accomodated my schedule when I had to make alterations to it. And ultimately, when my original choice of financing was too slow to respond, Chris came through with a quick response of financing through the dealership so that I could complete the purchase transaction and take delivery of the vehicle. I came in looking for a used Civic for my daughter for graduation and ended up with a cute 2011 Honda Fit with very low mileage. Christopher worked hard trying to find us a car within our confines and when all the ones on the list we wanted ended up sold already he didn't quit, instead he walked with us out in the lot and that's when we spotted the Fits. IT was perfect for my daughter with the great visibility it has, low mileage, and great gas mileage. And the ORANGEburst color ended up being perfect...she loved it!!
