Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was very accommodating. I moved from Michigan to Mass back in January of this year (2010). I brought my leased 2008 F-150 with me and had to do the lease trade in...now July 2010. I went to Herb Chamber Ford in Braintree year (2010). I brought my leased 2008 F-150 with me and had to do the lease trade in...now July 2010. I went to Herb Chamber Ford in Braintree unannounced on a Tuesday evening. I was greeted by Ken Albritton who offered to assist. Not only did he assist, but he took the situation over and turned this into a win / win for both myself and the dealership. Since I was over my lease miles, I expected to pay my remaining payments as well as the milage overages. Instead, after inspecting my vehicle, Ken suggested that he could terminate the lease by offering to "buy" the vehicle directly from me...eliminating the need for a Ford Lease inspection and essentially allowing me to walk away from the truck that night. Not only did they buy it, but between the remaining payments I owed and the over miles chages I was on the hook for $2400. Instead they said "write us a check for $1200 and we'll call it even". WOW!! Not only did I complete the lease turn in, but I paid out 1/2 as much as expected. They indicated that they had done such a high volume of used car sales the prior month that they were in the market for good used vehicles. What a great way to ensure that they met my needs and those of the used car customer coming in behind me. S All in all, somebody is going to get a great used truck and they are going to be great service from a reputable dealer! I have been looking for a vehicle for a while now, other dealers were either to pushy, for me, or didn't have what I was looking for. I went into Herb Chambers Ford just to look and ended up buying a Ford Edge. The salesman gave me time to look over the used car inventory. He listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle, showed me 3 vehicles which I thought would be good choices without pressure. Then he showed me the Ford Edge and it fit what I was looking for, the miles per gallon, roof racks, towing ability, awd, loaded with features, plenty of power and very nice handling. and they delivered the car that day (saturday) amazing.. I took my current leased vehicle for a simple oil change; Herb Chambers offered to buy my exisitng lease and set me up in a new car, the service was impecable, management was VERY friendly, and I felt at hom Herb Chambers offered to buy my exisitng lease and set me up in a new car, the service was impecable, management was VERY friendly, and I felt at home and taken care of; I would highly recommend Herb Chanbers of Braintree not only for their customer service, but incredile management of their service department. I once had a nail in my tire when my new leased Focus was 2 months old. I took it in for service, and was not charged, and all they kept saying was "not a problem, enjoy your new car". That really mattered to me and made me recommend this dealer to 2 coworkers of mine, 1 of which ended up purchasing a Focus. It took only about 3 hrs to literally trade in my old lease and drive off the lot with a shiny new Focus. Again, the customer service was better than I've ever seen anywhere else, and I have been to other dealers. My recomendation for this dealer is to keep up the incresible customer service, and treat customers as human...some dealers are all about the money. What matters in this day in age, is providing quality vehicles and services for a reasonable price, and Herb Chambers of Braintree fullfills all of that and more. Jeffery Magnet is an excellent sales person, he made us feel very comfortable thru the entire deal. I do want to mention here that we were not happy with the "SERVICE" department as the car we were pur feel very comfortable thru the entire deal. I do want to mention here that we were not happy with the "SERVICE" department as the car we were purchasing was suppossed to have gone thru multi point safety inspection, however, the two head light bulbs were missing, the radio knob was broken, and the maintence required light came on in one day. Jeffery Magnet was very helpful in working with the Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn to get all problems corrected. I would like to rate my Sales Representative, Jeffery Magnet, as (5 - Great). More
I walked into the dealership knowing I wanted a Escape XLT and had picked every feature that I wanted. I had already sent a request to the dealer from the FordVehicles website. I was driving a 2002 Esca XLT and had picked every feature that I wanted. I had already sent a request to the dealer from the FordVehicles website. I was driving a 2002 Escape xls that I bought new, and the dealer gave me a fair trade in value. When I handed the new Escape spec to Joe, He came back quickly with a copy of the window sticker of the exact truck I wanted. The truck was at another dealer location, but the team assured me that I would have the truck the very next day, and I did. Miguel was great at explaining the entire financing paperwork and made it an enjoyable experience. I had dreaded going to the dealer to buy a new escape, but now I wish I had done it sooner, because I am so excited at how seamless it was and I love my new Escape. I look forward to working with this dealership for all my service needs, and am glad they are there to support me with any needs I have with my new truck.
