I recently serviced my 2003 Ford Crown Victoria at Herb Chambers Ford In Braintree. I was completely satisfied with the service provided by Dave Brownell. I went into Herb Chambers Ford with the hopes to lease a car. This was my first experience with a big purchase so I was nervous. My salesman Walter was very approachable and informative. I am a big believer in customer service, and would definitely not have made such a big purchase here if it wasn't anything but great, which it was! I had a great experience at Herb Chambers Ford, Braintree. I dealt with some of the most friendly and professional people I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. I was not the easiest custome Braintree. I dealt with some of the most friendly and professional people I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. I was not the easiest customer to deal with, and they handled everything with lots of class. John (salesman), Miguel (Sales Manager), Sean (Finance Manager), and Guillaume (Sales Manager) were all so helpful and made sure we were happy with my purchase and my experience. As an added bonus, I LOVE my Ford Fusion! Thank you guys! More
Every single interaction with Herb Chambers ford was totally exasperating. They were dishonest at every step of the way. THey continually made promises ("the car will be ready by 2pm tomorrow") they t totally exasperating. They were dishonest at every step of the way. THey continually made promises ("the car will be ready by 2pm tomorrow") they then didnt keep- when I pointed this out to them, they said "oh, xyz happened so we coudlnt keep to our schedule"...but dont make promises that you cant keep! They were also VERY disorganized in their customer service. They forgot to refund me my deposit until I bugged them, they forgot my second set of keys, and they forgot to put the owners manual in the new car I bought. Lastly, after I wrote a really exasperated email to scott lewis the manager, he had the nerve to tell me that the issue was MY attitude, and not their incompetence and dishonesty. Here are some of their broken promises: -"we will have all 3 cars you want to look at by 2pm tomorrow" (though some cars were across the state -"we will fedex you the keys and the owners manual tomorrow" (didnt get them for 3 more days) -Forgot to issue my refund on my deposit until I bugged them -"you will be in and out in 30 minutes when you buy the car" (took 4 hours) -"you are the next one to do your paperwork" (3 other guys in line) What really topped it off for me was that not only were they incompetent, they acted as if I was the unreasonable one when I asked them to stick to the promises they had made.
