I found the Mazda 3 online and was able to get in to view it within a week. Mr. Gamble made the process incredibly painless for a first-time buyer. Not once did I feel intimidated or as though he was pushing me into buying when I was making a decision. He was friendly and humorous and made my experience not just easy, but enjoyable. Although the car was priced above my limit, I eventually decided to purchase it due to the explanation of the work that the Herb Chambers service center put into it before they put it on the lot - I couldn't have found a car of comparable quality anywhere else. My only issue was the time it took for the finances to be sorted out - I ended up waiting for over 2 hours before I could sit down with someone to speak about the final details. Unfortunately this was mostly due to the dealership being short-staffed that day. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I am extremely pleased with the car I ended up with thanks to Mr. Gamble and the rest of the staff at Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree. More
Worse Customer Service ever! Swindlers I feel I was completely misled by more than one person on more than one occasion during my purchase process and when I looked to the leadership (GM) f I feel I was completely misled by more than one person on more than one occasion during my purchase process and when I looked to the leadership (GM) for customer service and was met by an abrasive, unsympathetic and unprofessional responsive from a person who is representing a organization that prides itself on an unparalleled customer experience... not so much! I had gone into Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree on 10/19/2014 after driving by and seeing a Honda S2000 in the lot. I was promptly greeted by a a sales person, Shawn who started to tell me about this little car. He informed me that it had basically in a time capsule in someones garage since it were new and the owner's wife had encouraged the trade in of the car. I hadn't brought my trade into the dealer with me as I was just driving by and hadn't planned on purchasing a vehicle that day so I needed to go home and pickup the car that I would be trading. I should have left and never come back after the sales manager pressed me to "just finance" the car and he would "buy" my trade from me when I had a chance to bring it in! It was all very shady!... but he mentioned I was protected because of Herb Chambers 5 Day guarantee if I wasn't happy with the car... so I really couldn't go wrong right? I opted to get my go home and get my trade thinking it would be a better option. When I got back and we figured the price points on both the trade and the S2000 I was still hesitant about the purchase, but I liked the car and felt protected because I was yet again reminded, for a 3rd time mind you, of Herb Chambers 5 day money back guarantee and the 30 day trade in policy.... where could I honestly go wrong?!! The next day (Sunday 10/20/2014) my husband and I had gone into the dealership to finalize all the paperwork and to take delivery of the car. The finance manager AGAIN reiterated to us our right to the 5 Day return policy and the 30 day return policy. After taking the car home and driving it for a few days we realized that the car really wasn't for us and we should find another car that would suit our life much better. I called the sales person Shawn who was great and wanted to make sure that we were happy. He encouraged us to hold out for the 30 day policy where we can trade the car in for the purchase price for another vehicle that way we could be sure the car wasn't for us, but still have options. I'm sure he just wanted to keep a sale, but I set him to rest informing him that we would be purchasing a new vehicle, but it wouldn't be that car. We were that we had to speak to the general manager, Mr. Scott Lewes, and he would be the one to assist us. The next day I received a call from Mr. Lewis and explained the situation to him - that we wanted to find another vehicle, because this car would not be for us. Mr. Lewis then informed us that the 5 day and 30 day policies did not apply to convertibles and that he could do nothing for us. I was completely floored due to HIS employees on more than one occasion telling me about the policies? I was completely confused! I was informed and led to believe that I had these policies to protect me - I was either blatantly lied to OR Mr. Lewis doesn't inform his employees of company policy. I understand policy and how they work. What is policy on misleading customers? What is the policy for not training your employees on your policies? Either way this is now a customer service issue and I wanted some assistance or at least a willingness to be heard in order to come to mutually beneficial agreement. NO - Mr. Lewis was extremely rude and not at all helpful. When I informed him of what I was informed by his employees he simply said that he is not "privy" to private conversations what are had outside of his presence and no matter what I was told that is not the policy so I will have to "live with it". WOW!!!! This is the general manager of a dealership who advertises nothing but an amazing customer experience! I have since written to several emails to corporate and left Mr. Lewis 2 messages and have yet to receive further contact. I then find out after the facet that the car has been involved in an accident... time capsule huh? Buyer beware! They say anything to make a sale and clearly have xxxx customer service! Mr. Lewis should be ashamed of himself - he needs to have some integrity for his employees and should learn to be far less arrogant and cold on the telephone. People want to be heard, not ignored. You need to make a buck that fast and at this price - go for it, but remember KARAMA can be a tough thing to live with More

A experience I never thought possible!!! Last week was a time to remember! While searching for a car on the good ole internet I came across a Ford Explorer at Herb Chambers in Braintree. I asked for some information and within minutes I was on the phone with there BDC manager Danielle. After some lenthy professional talks I made a appoitment to come in the next the day which I will be honest I was not looking forward to the car salesman mumbo jumbo! When I pulled up there was a salesman outside but what suprised me was I was waiting to get rushed before I got out my car and after waiting about 4 minutes I realized this experience was going to be different. I exited my car and with the breathing room I needed I made it over to the explorers without fighting off a army! The same salesman that didnt rush me at my car still kept his distance which I have to admit I was suprised. I looked over a couple vehicles and then it was like he knew I was finally ready to talk to someone he appeared and introduced himself. Kevin Sanderson from Herb Chambers Ford is hands down a different breed of salesman. If its someone I ever met that had a way to put you at ease in a stressful situation its him! Not once did I feel pressured, not once did I feel uncomfortable, and for once I looked forward to buying a car. From product knowledge on Fords to knowing things about other makes and models better then the salesmen at those stores there wasnt a question I couldnt get a answer for. Ive bought over 20 cars in my life and this is the first time were 2 days later I wanted to go back and buy another car to make up for the last 19 horrible experiences Ive dealt with! To think all it took was a salesman that knew how to make a customer feel like he won the lottery when it came to buying a car I could only imagine how many more cars I would of bought in the past. To anyone looking or thinking about buying a car the only advice I can give you is a great car buying experience awaits you at Herb Chambers Ford with there salesman Kevin Sanderson. Im not going to lie I run a business myself and I personally offered Kevin a job with my company that he respectively declined due to his passion for Herb Chambers and the car industry. I wouldnt be suprised one bit if by my next car he was a manager because salesman like him are hard to come by!
