routine maintenance and asked for diagnosis on concerns with I requested an extensive evaluation of my brakes and tires as i sensed there may be some concern or the beginning of a problem. the tech thoroughly I requested an extensive evaluation of my brakes and tires as i sensed there may be some concern or the beginning of a problem. the tech thoroughly inspected and test drove the vehicle and understood what i was sensing as a potential problem. after evaluation i was given a complete and easy to understand explanation with corrective steps that would need to be taken but was assured it could wait until i can get the vehicle back in to the service center when my son brings it back from college. it would have been easy to take advantage of the situation and request all the work to be done right then even though they knew i was pressed for time going into the holiday. Even better was the ability for the tech to inform me of the great deal on tires you have running an assured me i would be able to take advantage of the offer in a few weeks. Total professionalism in how i was treated. thank you More

Promaster 2500 diesel service Hi I have a promaster 2500 diesel , herb chamber diesel master technician is by far the worse. They don’t know what they are doing .my car was there f Hi I have a promaster 2500 diesel , herb chamber diesel master technician is by far the worse. They don’t know what they are doing .my car was there for over one week . They charged me over $700 to fix the car , I just went to the dealership to get the car and the same problem still there . After over one week and loss of time and money . Also last time they replace transmission speed sensor to correct a lost of power while driving. After the repair I noticed that the transmission was not shifting properly. So they told me to drive for couple weeks to see if it would get better . So I did and the car still shifting the same way. So now they told me that the car needs a transmission clutch to fix the shifting problem . I’m taking this car to a different dealer to get a second opinion. Because all they do is replace parts and don’t fix the problem. I don’t recommend taking your car for service at this dealership. More
Worst Service EVER BEWARE - Brought my vehicle in for repairs because it wouldn't get out of first gear. Told them to make sure to test drive the car before I pick it up. I received a call telling me everything was fixed and to get the car. At pickup I asked repeatedly if they test drove the car. Yes, was the answer multiple times. So after I paid over $500 I got in my car and of course, it wouldn't get out of first gear. When I went back inside I was told they were closing so they'd look at it tomorrow. The next day I get a call telling me the car can't be repaired and I'll have to scour the country looking in junk yards for an entire electrical wiring system. I was told to remove my car from the lot or they will charge me $35 a day. I PAID OVER $500 FOR REPAIRS THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I WAS REFUSED A REFUND. I had my car towed to Fuller Automotive in Auburn. They fixed the car in one day for under $250. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE CENTER. More

Fast and Friendly Service I scheduled a service for my Jeep and two days later I received a recall notice. I called the service department and asked if I could add the recall work to my regular service visit. There was not a problem in adding the work was completed sooner that I was told. The over six year relationship I have had with Herb Chambers CJDR of Millbury has always been a positive one. More
Service department not great; sales excellent We had the the unfortunate experience of having a truck break down in Millbury while on a cross country run as a hotshot trucking operator. My vehicle We had the the unfortunate experience of having a truck break down in Millbury while on a cross country run as a hotshot trucking operator. My vehicle was towed to Herb Chambers in Millbury, and it was then that I came into contact with Gabriela in service. Eventually, I authorized the dealership for three hours of labor to diagnose the problem with my truck. Word came back that it was the torque converter, and the technician was 90-95% sure that this was the issue. I was told at this time that they couldn’t get parts until Monday and I offered to help. I purchased a torque converter and had it shipped overnight to the dealership at a cost of $1650. Of this, $315 alone was shipping charges for overnight air shipping. So, the dealership received the part on Thursday and I was told they should be able to get to it. Come Thursday, I got another call that said “Sorry we can’t even touch it until Monday.” Then, when they finally did get around to it, it was discovered that the torque converter was NOT the issue, but it was instead the whole transmission. Fine, it broke. I’m cool with that. What I am not cool with is the fact that even though I only authorized three hours of labor, I somehow ended up paying $792.81 out of my pocket for them to basically do nothing, and my vehicle was left in pieces. I should note this was after a supposed $175 discount from the service manager. I didn’t want to spend good money fixing the transmission so I opted not to. It was at this time that I dealt with the sales department. They were great. Even though they couldn’t find me a truck, they went out of their way to try and help. All told I ended up spending $792.81 to Herb Chambers, lost $315 in shipping, had to put my employee up in a hotel for 8 days at a total of $722, an airplane ticket ($410) to fly said employee to a dealership to get the truck we eventually bought plus time and lost wages. I am not a happy camper, and I really think that the service department should examine its practices a little closer. This is especially true because I personally know that a service department is the “cash cow” of any dealership. You see, I spent 7 years in sales myself and I know that if I ever treated a customer in this manner, I’d have been dealt with ina severe manner, and probably fired. Please fix this. More
