GO ELSEWHERE!!! worst dealership Ive ever dealt with These people don't deserve your business. My girlfriend and I spent hours negotiating a deal on a new vehicle lease with a salesman that was extremely dishonest. the finance guy LU lied right to us on the numbers he presented us. We shopped another dealer and herb chambers did have a lower price and most importantly the color she wanted. So we called them and after some run around they confirmed that the deal was still on the table, and to come in and finish the deal. When we returned they gave us a story about how LU made a mistake and they would need $850 more for the jeep and that was their final offer!! after some hesitation we signed a paper saying we would move forward with the deal. we told the salesman joe we would move forward but would be talking to someone higher up about the horrible customer service and them not honoring up to a "mistake" they made. So out walks the general manager of the store and starts jamming some story down our throat about how its not his fault we walked out on a great deal and if we don't like the current offer to leave!! we politely asked him why, if we already committed to a purchase already he came over to talk to us, especially in the manner he was talking! He threw his hand in our face and told us he was "done" and stormed off and the salesman told us they were not selling us the jeep and that would could leave now!!! This was totally a person issue and they didn't want to hear any negative feedback even though we were still going to buy. Fast forward a couple hours later, we went to another dealership that treated us with great respect, were honest, and matched the original deal that herb chambers backed out of in the first place! PLEASE SHOP AROUND AND DO NOT DEAL WITH HERB CHAMBERS. there are many other honest places that deserve your bussiness! More
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WROTE A REVIEW SEVERAL WEEKS BACK ON HOW OUR SALES PERSON QUOTED US A PRICE AND DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. THE MANAGER APPARENTLY CALLED MY HUSBAND BA I WROTE A REVIEW SEVERAL WEEKS BACK ON HOW OUR SALES PERSON QUOTED US A PRICE AND DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. THE MANAGER APPARENTLY CALLED MY HUSBAND BACK AND MADE THE DEAL TO THE E-PRICE. SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO BE IN CONTACT WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND NOBODY IN THE PLACE ANSWERS QUESTIONS HONESTLY!!! I HAD SIMPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT INCENTIVES AND IF THE USED AN AUTO BUYING PROGRAM. NOT ONE PERSON KNEW WHAT IT WAS AND WAS WILLING TO HELP FIND OUT!!! SPOKE TO A GUY NAMED LOU TO COMPLAIN AND THEY SAID HE WAS THE MANAGER. HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WAS CUT THE CONVERSATION AND HUNG UP. I THEN CALLED BACK TO COMPLAIN TO HIM THAT IT WAS REALLY RUDE THE WAY HE PUSHED ME OFF THE PHONE AND NOBODY IN THIS DEALERSHIP CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS HONESTLY. NOW HE WONT GET BACK ON THE PHONE AND TAKE MY COMPLAINT, HE CALLS HIMSELF THE MANAGER??? I GUESS I'LL CALL DOUG THE GENERAL MANAGER IN THE MORNING!!! I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO SELL CARS??? More
Horrendous Absolutely terrible customer service. Told one day I would be contacted by a finance manager who money they had the day off. The next day was told all Absolutely terrible customer service. Told one day I would be contacted by a finance manager who money they had the day off. The next day was told all day they are working on the deal only to find out they had done nothing. Told my sales guy is busy with someone then told it's his day off. The run around never ended. The last straw was the dick of a finance manager on duty who was beyond rude. I had bought and traded a few vehicles and had others go there as I referred them...never again. Horrible horrible dealership. I'd give them no stars if it were possible. More

Golden Retriever) w My Jeep wouldn't start after pumping gas at the Charleton Service Center on our way to Cape Cod. We (me, my friend and my 113 lb. Golden Retriever) were towed to Herb Chambers in Millbury, MA, since it was the closest Jeep dealer. The service center was fantastic. Brett Coleman, the service manager, was so helpful and calm. He even offered us pizza while we waited since it was lunchtime and they had some extra in the shop area! Everyone made us feel so comfortable and welcome while we waited, even my dog. Brett squeezed our service in and they determined it was the battery. Within a couple hours, we were back on the road. I wish they were closer! I would definitely recommend bringing my car for service here. They are friendly, knowledgeable and explained the service provided and the reason for the problem. Thank you again to the service team at Herb Chambers/Millbury. You turned a nightmare road trip into a pleasant experience! More

And my sales consultant Rob wa I wanted to thank the sales team at Herb Chambers Chrysler, Jeep,Dodge Ram. I went in looking for a new Grand Cherokee. And my sales consultant Rob was just fantastic, very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We sat down and we went over what options and color I was looking for and he found me the perfect jeep. And then the sale mangers were also extremely helpful and pleasant. I left in my new Grand Cherokee the same day. Thank you again to Rob and the Sales mangers. More
Arrogant service manager I have been waiting for a response to my service complaint for months !! I was charged for a front end alignment when there was a hole in the front a I have been waiting for a response to my service complaint for months !! I was charged for a front end alignment when there was a hole in the front axel that You could put Your fist in !! They refused too work on my vehicle and sent me to Town fair Tire. All the nuts that were required to do alignment were rusted and stripped. How could they have aligned my front end ?? I am 77 years old and was told that I could no longer bring my vehicle too them for repair. The service manger said that the general manager was after him to stop working on older vehicles. Is this any way too treat a senior ?? I was treated very poor by the people at this dealership !! More

I explained to him clearly that I already went to Herb Chambers in Danvers and their trade in numbers where $5k off from what I received at 5 other dealers over the past few days. He pretty much assured me that he would be right at KBB trade in value. So I took the hour drive and was there for another one and a half hours before they came out with even a $1k offer lower than the Danvers location! Complete waste of time! HOW CAN AGREE WITH A CUSTOMER STATING THEIR OFFER WAS LOW AND THEN OFFER ME LESS!!!!!!! More
Brand new 2016 Cherokee TH and visited service 8 visits I purchased my new 2016 Jeep TrailHawk at the end of August, within the first month I noticed a high pitched sound coming from the rear of the car whe I purchased my new 2016 Jeep TrailHawk at the end of August, within the first month I noticed a high pitched sound coming from the rear of the car when it was in gear. Brought it back to the dealership I bought the car at since it was new and the dealership closer to my house would not service the car since I did not buy it there. Drove the hour to the dealership for an appointment, after waiting in the comfortable waiting area, was told the part had to be ordered. Came back two weeks later for the repair. Took a few hours. A month late, brought car in for 4WD need service light went on. I assumed it was related to the first service. Had to come back after part ordered, received a loaner car, returned 2 days later. Within a week the 4WD service light came back on. Dropped car off on a Friday, received a loaner car. When I picked my car up, my gas light was on. I found this annoying since I have driven numerous times over 50 miles to get to the service center on a band new car, and the 3 times I had a rent-a-car I had to put gas in them so why couldn't they replace the gas they used to check out the car. In addition, on the last visit, I requested to talk to the general manager who was not there so I settled on the Head Sales manager. After waiting over 10 minutes and being told it would be another 10 minutes before he would be available I walked out. Now the high picked noise from the rear is back. I don't want to make an appointment without speaking to someone first. I have tried talking to service and I have been disconnected a few time. When I do leave a message no one calls back. Don't think they want to deal with the lemon of a car they sold me. My advice is: ALWAY BY A CAR CLOSE TO HOME because my Jeep has given me nothing but problems and was not worth the money. More
