Wow, who said customer service is dead? I called about a Jeep Patriot and the cash for clunkers program. The woman who answered for vehicle information was extremely pleasant and knowledgable. She answered all my questions, directed me to websites that helped me understand the program and even set up an appointment for their dealership to help me know for sure my car qualified. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and even though I could see how incredibly busy they were, everyone had smiles and were pleasant and patient. My Salesperson, Jim Morin, took a lot of time to explain the program to me, very patiently and helped me look at all my options for my trade. All I can say is I have never had a better experience at a car dealer! More
Called to make a service appointment for a recall on my wife's Grand Caravan, having to do with an air-bag issue. Specified that I would like to wait since {according to the bulletin}, is only one hour, and the advisor accomodated my needs. That appointment was March 3, 2008 at 4pm. I called to confirm that everything was on schedule, and if I show up at 4pm, my van would be started right away. After a brief on hold session, the advisor asked if I could drop the van off at 3pm instead of 4. I can't since I'm working. When asked if I would like to re-schedule, I told him I would have to get back to him since I live 3/4 hour away, and this apppointment was crucial, due to personal scheduling issues. I own an '05 Jeep Rubicon, and this van is an '05 EXT version. Appointment delays have occurred like this two other times. I will more than likely look elsewhere for sales and service in the future. Every time I go into the Service Dept, there are "new" people....you can't develop a relationship with them at all. Not good. More

I want to first say that I HATE CAR SHOPPING! I always fear going into a dealership and dealing with the high pressure of some salesman who practically wants to open my door as i pull into the lot. I met Jim who gave me all the information that i asked and took me for a ride in several different models. i told him i needed to go home and discuss options with my husband. i then was introduced to Joe who was a great help as well. these guys were great and i love my new car and have told everyone how great the experience was. I was very dissappointed with the customer service at Herb Chambers-Chrysler in Millbury, MA. I then confirmed they were wrong by looking the answer up in the manual. They did not have a response. It was more of a „oh well“ look on their face. I spoke with 5 different salesmen and one always contradicted another. When I spoke with the manager on duty to convey my frustrations, he did not have a response. He did not try to understand my concerns and frustrations. He did pass me onto another sales representative. On the positive side, my car was fantastic. It looked great, just what I wanted. I brought it back a few days later to have LoJack and a remote starter installed as well as have my inspection done (which you pay for upfront). The remote starter did not work and the inspection was not done. They wanted to keep my car for another day to fix the remote starter. Since I live 45 miles from the dealership I was upset. I drove 90 miles that day to pick up my car that did start remotely and did not have an inspection. Herb Chambers-Chrysler has salesmen who are unprofessional and unknowledgable. I will never buy a car from them again and I will not recommend them to anyone. As for the car, I do recommend and give high praise, but buy it from another Chrysler dealership. More
